    AN online RFID and Zigbee based Manufacturing

    Monitoring system using ARM7 micro controller

    Abstract:

    Generally monitoring the production in enterprises by humans is unable to meet the

    expectations. To improve the efficiency and accuracy and also improve the management

    efficiency AN online RFI and !igbee based "anufacturing "onitoring system using AR"#

    micro controller$ is a good approach. The main aim of this concept is to monitoring the product

    in various manufacturing systems and also to obtain the real%time status and data of the various

    manufacturing systems located in different nodes. In this &e are interfacing a controller &ith

    both 'igbee and rfid readers and this is called as a node( this node is placed in a location( in the

    same &ay these nodes are placed in different places and these nodes had different addresses. A

    master node is connected to )* +&ith internet connection,. No& &hen the reader reads a rfid tag

    then it sends a data to the master node then master node perform some logical operations and

    update that to )* then the soft&are in the )*+&hich is developed in .net, update the same to a

    &ebsite.

    Introduction

    To increase the productivity of a firm( the most basic and important re-uirement is to

    obtain the real%time status and data of the various manufacturing systems in the enterprise.

    /0RFI monitoring devices can serve as the data collection system and the !ig1ee &ireless

    net&or2 can serve as the communication system to transmit the data to different levels of the

    enterprise management. From the perspective of system automatic control( the RFI and !ig1ee

    monitoring system serves as the feedbac2 lin2 so as to achieve the close%loop control and

    management of the enterprise.

    environments( and their performance is impacted by multiple factors such as the total capacity of

    pallets( the actual number of pallets in the system( the pallet index speed( and the

    material handling systems is to reliably and safely move parts across the facilities for processing

    &hile improving the transportation utili'ation( saving space( shortening setup time( or reducing

    overall material handling cost60. Another reason for using *3"4s in practice is to improve the

    product -uality and yield by allo&ing product re&or2 loop at some re%entrant points.

    Proposed System:

    information of each product( processes( the products7 current locations( attendance of the

    &or2ers( e-uipment and so on( so that the managers can ma2e better analysis and optimi'ation.

    1ecause it is a &ireless system( the need for &iring and other issues can be got rid of. 8f course(there is no universal technology( RFI and !ig1ee based &ireless sensor monitoring system has

    its o&n &ea2nesses &hen it is used in a large -uantity. For example( the anti%9amming capability

    in complex or extreme environments and so on may cause problems. There are some successful

    cases by using RFI and !ig1ee based &ireless sensor monitoring systems. According to the

    A complete manufacturing enterprise can be divided into different layers. /0ifferent

    layers do different 2inds of 9obs. The enterprise can function &ell and efficiently only if every
