3. Kumon Franchise SeminarAttend a Kumon Franchise seminar. You will also be required to pass the requisite math and reading proficiency tests to further assess your eligibility to be a Kumon Instructor.

4. Interviewing ProcessIf you qualify, Kumon will conduct a more extensive interview with you.

5. Financial and Background CheckKumon will conduct a standard background check and financial assessment.

6. Initial TrainingOnce approved, you will complete hands-on training. The training covers the Kumon Curriculum and lesson plans as well as business and center management strategies.

7. Franchise Agreement and Center OpeningOnce training is complete and the center location has been approved, Kumon will determine your eligibility for a franchise agreement.
