The bride's dilemma
Finding the right wedding venue is the
most time consuming and hardest part of
planning a wedding. As part of this
journey, brides end up making numerous
in person visits, only to find out many
venues weren't a good fit and a waste of
their time. What's even more frustrating
is most other wedding decisions can't be
made until the venue/date have been set.
This only adds to all the other stresses
of planning a wedding.
How we help
We help by narrowing their wedding venue options from 6-10 down to 2-3. This reduces the number of in person visits which saves the bride time and reduces her stress.
How do we do this? We aggregate high quality pictures and sort them by venue. For each venue, we show her what's possible by displaying 25-35 real weddings (each with about 50 pictures). We also share links to articles about that venue, and social media content so she knows what the "word on the street" is.

what you're looking for... let me
tell you what that costs".

Get free exposure by participating
• Brides will look at your pictures and be inspired
• You have a higher chance of getting hired at her venue since you've already shot there
• Associate your studio brand with specific venues (i.e. submit more galleries for high end venues)
• Your name, website and contact info is prominently displayed in each wedding gallery
• You also get a photographer page to showcase up to 30 weddings, a video bio, testimonials and any other background information

Featured venue requests are on a first come, first serve basis after your galleries
are submitted. There is a limit of 100 wedding galleries per photographer.

Please make sure your friends submit your name as the referring photographer
when they submit their images.

What you should include in each of
your galleries
• Each wedding you submit should have its own folder
• The folder name should include the venue, couples name and photographer (i.e.
TheElysian_KimandChris_byKennyKim)
• Each JPEG should be 900 x 600 pixels for horizontal shots and 600 x 900 for
verticle shots
• Each wedding should have at least 30 pictures, but feel free to include as many
as you want (the more the better)
• At least 50% of the pictures should focus on the venue (i.e. room shots, dance
floor, table arrangements, architecture details, etc.)
• Do not watermark your images. Chido will watermark your images for you in a
way that's consistent with all the other pictures on our site.
Options to submit your galleries
1. Email a zipped file to [email protected]
2. Upload files via You Send it to [email protected] (free
uploads of less than 100 MB)
3. Burn your folders/images to a CD and mail them
4. Place images on your FTP site and send us the login info
5. Feel free to suggest other methods which work for you
Final thoughts
• We shared the idea with brides and every single one of them said they would
use Chido to help find their venue and plan their wedding
• I'm also a wedding photographer, so I'm building the site with your needs in
mind
• Chido only focuses on mid to high end venues, where other sites take a "one
size fits all" approach
• Chido uses state of the art technology and is customized for iPads and
mobile phones
