Last week at The Campus House, we huddled around six graduates to pray over them and send them out as missionaries to new mission fields such as Stanford for grad school and Boeing in Los Angeles. I choked up in the prayer as it sunk in that these students I’ve grown to love so much won’t be here next fall. Each graduate stood up front while I said a few words about specific things they have accomplished and ways I’ve seen them grow spiritually. Among others things, their gift bags contained photo albums with pictures of them at BHC’s activities and such. I’m so proud of their spiritual and academic faithfulness. We love them and will miss them greatly. Please keep these new missionaries in your prayers! I’m thrilled to announce that our very own Nicole Phillips has been accepted into an apprentice missionary program called AIM. This is the same program I went to out of high school in 1998 that took me to Samoa and Australia. Nicole heads to Lubbock, TX in August. Since this 2.5 year program requires apprentices to raise financial support, she needs our help. If you’re inter- ested in hearing more about AIM and how you can help, please let us know!

SENIOR SEND OFF One of the hardest parts of College Ministry is saying goodbye to students,

no matter if I had them for half a semester or four years plus.

If you’re inter-ested in hearing more about AIM and how you can help, please let us know!

THANK YOU NOTE

On behalf of the students at Blue Hens for Christ, I want to thank the many generous volunteers who helped provide meals for our Tuesday night Bible studies this school year. We especially thank Lisa Miller (pictured above) for serving as our wonderful Meal Coordinator. The reminder I echo time and time again is that these meals are not trivial, but truly help our ministry reach students. If you would like join the team and get in on the rotation of providing food next fall, please contact Lisa at [email protected].

HONDURAS MISSION TRIP

This morning at 6:15, myself and three students boarded a plane for Honduras, where we’ll spend two weeks working with Christian Relief Fund. Aside from doing various projects, we’re especially excited about meeting the child BHC has sponsored for many years.

Those coming with me are Ryan Evans, Kyle Friedline and Nicole Phillips. These students have participated in BHC’s Campus Missionary Program this school year. Their commitment has included regular participation at BHC and church, taking the iWitness evangelism course, reading two books, and doing an hour of outreach on campus every week. I couldn’t be more proud of them! Please pray for our safety and service these next two weeks.
