1.0 ADDENDUM REPORT The Source Group, Inc. (SGI), is pleased to provide this Addendum to Supplemental Source Area Investigation for the former Anaconda Wire & Cable facility located at 220-296 North Cypress Street in Orange, California (Figures 1 and 2). The investigation was conducted in accordance with the Work Plan for Supplemental Source Area Investigation, Former Anaconda Wire & Cable Facility, Orange, California (Geosyntec, 2013), dated February 15, 2013, and comments provided by the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) in a letter dated March 11, 2013. The Supplemental Source Area Investigation report, dated April 25, 2013 (SGI, 2013), summarized field procedures and presented analytical results for soil and groundwater. Because 1,4-dioxane was reported in groundwater, but was not detected in soil at or above the 0.20-milligram per kilogram (mg/kg) laboratory reporting limit, the RWQCB requested that the soil samples be analyzed for low-level 1,4-dioxane. California-certified Calscience Laboratory was contacted and the soil samples were reanalyzed for 1,4-dioxane. The original samples, collected March 21, 2013, had been retained by Calscience and were analyzed within prescribed holding times. The samples were collected at 5, 10, and 15 feet below ground surface from soil borings B-101 through B-104 on March 21, 2013. Based upon the results for the low-level analysis, 1,4-dioxane was not detected at or above the lower reporting limit of 0.025 mg/kg in any of the soil samples. The laboratory report is provided as Appendix A.

3.0 STATEMENT OF LIMITATIONS

This report has been prepared for the exclusive use of Chapman University, their representatives, and authorized agents as it pertains to the Former Anaconda Wire & Cable Facility in Orange, California. The findings and conclusions presented in this report are based primarily on the chemical analysis of soil and groundwater samples obtained during the current and historical investigations and a review of geologic literature available for the project area. All work has been performed in a manner consistent with that level of care and skill normally exercised by members of the environmental science profession currently practicing under similar conditions in the area. No other warranty, either expressed or implied, is made.

Condition Upon Receipt:

Samples were received under Chain of Custody (COC) on 03/21/2013. They were assigned toWork Order 13-03-1555.

Unless otherwise noted on the Sample Receiving forms all samples were received in goodcondition and within the recommended EPA temperature criteria for the methods noted on theCOC. The COC and Sample Receiving Documents are integral elements of the analyticalreport and are presented at the back of the report.

Holding Times:

All samples were analyzed within prescribed holding times (HT) and/or in accordance with theCalscience Sample Acceptance Policy unless otherwise noted in the analytical report and/orcomprehensive case narrative, if required.

Any parameter identified in 40CFR Part 136.3 Table II that is designated as "analyzeimmediately" with an immediate holding time (HT </= 15 minutes --40CFR-136.3 Table IIfootnote 4), is considered a "field" test and reported samples results are not flagged unless theanalysis is performed beyond 24 hours of the time of collection.

Quality Control:

All quality control parameters (QC) were within established control limits except where noted inthe QC summary forms or described further within this report.

Additional Comments:

Solid - Unless otherwise indicated, solid sample data is reported on a wet weight basis, notcorrected for % moisture. All QC results are always reported on a wet weight basis.
