ABOUT THE COVER: Anacortes has a long history of fine dining establishments, but the diversity and quality of today’s restaurants stand out. We went to the Anacortes Museum to celebrate our dining tradition.

Helping out with our cover shoot were Stacy O’Hagan from H20, who brought a Basil Berry Smash; Madison Hall from the 5th Street Bistro at the Majestic, who brought an espresso chocolate mousse and Monica Bertollini from 13 Moons at the Swinomish Casino, who brought a 22-ounce Porterhouse steak with seasonal vegetables, Yukon buttermilk mashed potatoes and cabernet sauce. Yum!
