ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION
4.1. AN OVERVIEW
Analysis of data means studying the tabulated data in order to
determine the inherent facts or meanings. Analysis of the data is an
important as any other components of the research process Gays (1976).
t in!ol!es brea"ing do#n e$isting comple$ factors into simpler parts
together in ne# arrangements for the purpose of interpretation. %his ser!es
the follo#ing main functions& such as&
1. %o reproduce the ra# data to be meaningful
'. %o test hypothesis or ull hypothesis #hiche!er may be pro!ed
or dispro!ed.
. %o obtain significant results out of the data collected according to
the assumption of the respondents and
*. %o estimate the parameter #hiche!er applicable.
%he data collected by the researcher is tabulated and the
interpretations are gi!en as follo#s.
