analysis of digipak

Analysis of Digipak The image of Deejay is very detailed and is also a close up. Her make-up, hair, jewellery and top are very clear which helps establish the mise- en-scene of the digipak. The title of the digipak eg the name of the album is very bold and clear all in capital locks. The use of the two lines helps establish this is the album name with the artist name below. The parental advisory sticker is important as it shows that there is some explicit content in the album, conforming to the rules and regulations of realising music. The crown on top of the title brings a vibrant look to the front of the album also giving it a youthful vibe. The crown placed on top of the album name ‘Perfectly Imperfect’ is also ironic as a crown is usually associated with Perfection and royalty however these two oppose each other and sometimes being perfect isn’t all that great. The middle image is mirrored and the shots are close up, being able to identify her make-up, jewellery and outfit. The mirrored image gives a double take which is more eye fixing then just having one of her. The clipart of the diamonds also conforms to the mise-en-scene of the digipak as well as my music advert.

Analysis of DigipakThe image of Deejay is very detailed and is also a close up. Her make-up, hair, jewellery and top are very clear which helps establish the mise-en-scene of the digipak. The title of the digipak eg the name of the album is very bold and clear all in capital locks. The use of the two lines helps establish this is the album name with the artist name below. The parental advisory sticker is important as it shows that there is some explicit content in the album, conforming to the rules and regulations of realising music.

The crown on top of the title brings a vibrant look to the front of the album also

giving it a youthful vibe.

The clipart of the diamonds also conforms to the mise-en-scene of the digipak as well as my music advert.Again, the use of the background which is a consistent theme throughout both of my products helps show its association with the artist.

The disc, also part of the middle of the digipak continues the theme of the digipak and association of the artist.

The writing on the disc also uses the same font as the rest of the digipak which is important as this helps associate the font with artist.

And finally, the back cover of the digipak also incorporates the abstract theme and the font. The clipart at the top shows all her songs underneath fall under ‘perfectly imperfect ‘and jealous which is the song that is being used in the music video is at the top, being prioritised. The structure of the list of the songs is very clearly laid out making it easy to read. The copyright at the bottom states that all music on the album belongs to the artistLastly, the barcode is placed there as it’s a product which will be bought by a target audience.
