The title (MOJO) is positioned top left aligned it completely covers the masthead from left to right. The font of the title is unique from other fonts used on the page, and is the largest text used.

Positioning statement (RADIOHEAD SPEAK) acts as the magazines line of promotion for itself/ ethos, positioned above the title.

The Barcode is positioned at the bottom right hand corner and is horizontal. The barcode displays the price of the magazine and the date issued.

The Main image is of a well know artist, the image delivers direct address following codes and conventions. The photo is posed, and consists of no text displayed over the subjects facial features, as this is the main course of selling.

The title has been covered by the main image, MOJO magazine can do so as it is a well known magazine and readers would automatically know what magazine it is.

Cover lines used are short and are generally made up of 3 or 4 words. This magazine consists of 4 cover lines. Cover lines in which are used are ambiguous on purpose in order to draw the reader in. Cover lines use the same font (bold and simple) and are always written in capitals. Also cover lines used frame the main image.

Sub lines are used that adds detail to the cover line however in this case does not make the cover line clear, this intrigues the reader.

Main cover line used anchors the main image and is a larger font than the other cover lines enabling the main cover line to stand out from over cover lines. The Background

colour of this issue is plain white. This colour has been used in order to allow the main image to stand out.

Colour Scheme of the white, brown and black are consistent throughout the front cover.

The Mast head Includes the title which is positioned on the left hand side, also the positioning statement which is allocated above the title, following code and conventions.

The publish date, issue number and price are displayed in the mast head.

Subsidiary images are shown that link to either stories inside the magazine or coverlines. These images frame the main image.

The Barcode Is positioned on the middle right hand side and does not include the price, publish date or issue number challenging code and conventions.

The Main cover line anchors the main image and is a lager font than other cover lives allowing it to stead out from other content.

The Background Colour of this issue is plain red, this colour has been used in order to allow main image and cover lines stead out.

Colour Scheme of red, white, orange and black is used consistently throughout the front cover, and contrast with each other.

Fonts in which this issue of magazine use consist of different styles. Fronts include sans serif (plain font, usually Times New Roman or Arial).

The main image conform in the code and conventions as it display a mid shot image that obtains a direct mode of address.

Cover lines frame the main image and are a bold font written in capitals, sub lines are similar, using the same font.

Buzz words are used in order to suggest special features to the particular magazine such as ‘free’.

Mast head consists of the title of the magazine in which is a unique font from the other fonts used, here the positioning statement is placed underneath the title.

The main cover line is larger than other cover lines used allowing it to stead out.

Cover lines in which are used are shown in a bold, simple font and written in capital letters. They frame the main image however do not overlap this draws attention to the main image.
