A woman rejects a guy’s love for her when he proclaims his love as she likes

to be single and does no want her freedom to be restricted if she accept his love. Hence, his unrequited love is left without any acceptance from her.

~ Line 3 : The guy should willing to accept the rejection and realize that by accepting the woman’s decision , he actually respecting the decision make by the woman. That is what true love is all about.

This poem is about the comparison between the persona and the summer.

The poet stress that the persona is more beautiful than the summer as the summer

has a lot of imperfections.
