24 hours Akhanda Kiirtana and Dada Asiimananda Day observed
24 hour Akhanda Kiirtan programme was held at the village named Chotka starting from 3 pm on 1st April 2017. There was mass feeding (Narayana Seva) also on this occasion. After the Akhanda Kiirtan all the participants observed one minute silence to give respect to the Dadhicis – those were killed along with Asiimanandaji on 2nd April 1990. This is the first time we held 24 hour Kiirtan and observed Asiimanandaji Divas in the very same village where he was murdered along with four others. There was a Kiirtan procession after the completion of Akhanda Kiirtan in that village. The procession passed along the building where they were killed and we remembered them. Kiirtan Prasad was distributed to the observing villagers of the procession.

Death of Sr. Margii Haripada Mahato
Senior Margii, Haripada Mahato of Kurmidih village of Ananda Nagar died on 3rd April at Kolkata and the cremation was done as per Ananda Marga Caryacarya on 4th April at his village. On 11th April the Shraddha Ceremony of Srhi Mahato was held as per Ananda Marga Caryacarya on 11.4.2017.

Radhu Soren (Majhi) Memorial Day observed
On 5th April Radhu Soren (Majhi) Memorial Day was observed at his village Damrughutu at Jagrti. There was 3 hour Akhanda Kiirtan, collective meditation and meal. In the afternoon Margiis went to the spot where he was murdered by CPM goons and offered flowers of his “Shahid Vedi”.
Annual function of Ananda marga High School On 7th April Ananda Marga High School celebrated Annual Function at the school compound. Ac Narayanananda Avt was the Chief Guest; Ac Muktananda Avt was the President.

Carak Puja Mela held at Guridih village on 14th April. It is Buddha Tantra cult as quoted by Baba. Lord Shiva Puja was also held here on this day as per Shaiva Tantra Cult.

House-Entry Ceremony Grha Pravesh (House-Entry Ceremony) was held at Pundag on 14th April as per Ananda Marga Caryacarya after 3 hour Akhanda Kiirtana. Collective meal was served.
Bengali New Year’s Day observed Bengali New Year Day was observed on 15 April at powerhouse, Anandanagar. There was 3 hour Akhanda Kiirtan followed by collective meditation. Ac Vivekananda Avt , Ac Muktananda Avt and Rector Master Ac Narayanananda Avt explained the importance of Bengali New Year and our duty and responsibility.

A consumers’ co-operative named as Pragatishil Co-operative was started on 15 April 2017 as per the guidance of Baba at PSD (Prout Seva Dal) Bhavan. At this stage spices and coarse gram power named as Chatu were produced. It started with 60 members.
New Primary School started New primary school was started on 16 April with 35 students at Sidhi village. On this occasion there was 3 hour Akhanda Kiirtan.

Akhanda Kiirtana in Baba’s Memorial Hall There was monthly 3 hour Akhanda Kiirtan at Baba’s Memorial Building on 16 April. Narayana Seva was followed.
Bacteria free Drinking Water Project Drinking water treatment project (Bacteria free) for Margiis visiting DMS etc, hostel boys, home boys etc has been set up at powerhouse.
Consruction of PP Home The construction work of Post Primary home is in progress. Constrution of toilet has started.

Dental clinic started Dental clinic started in our Ananda Nagar Hospital by Medical Department.
Operation Theatre in our hospital Operation Theatre is improved in our hospital.

Repairing of well at Degree College A Degree College well was damaged. This well was supplying water for Baba and on every alternative day some Dada used to carry water from this well to where Baba was residing. A portion of a side wall fell down along with mud up to 5 foot depth. It was in a dangerous condition. At any time the remaining portion also might have fallen down due to load etc. Ac Purnajinanananda Avt took initiative to repair it before the DMS function. The repairing work has almost complete.

Construction of Check Dam near AMIT There is a check dam construction near Ananda Marga Institute of Technology across the river. Ac Kalyanesvaranandaji is arranging fund for the construction which is in a rapid progress.
Construction of Rárh Museum and Rarhology Research Centre Foundation work has been started for the building of Rarh Museum and Rarhology Research Centre at Ananda Rekha complex of Ananda Nagar.

Marriage as per Ananda Marga Carya Carya On 23rd April a marriage ceremony was held at Bhursu village as per Ananda Marga Caryacarya
Construction of new hostel A new building has been built for Primary School Hostel boys at Singhbhum Hostel. On 24 April there was 3 hour Akhanda Kiirtan and collective meal at evening.
