Review the equator and the fact that it divides the Earth into its Northern and Southern Hemispheres. 2) Point out several rivers, including the Nile, the Tigris and the Euphrates. Rivers contain fresh water and carry their water into another river, a lake, a sea or an ocean. 3) Find the location of the Assyrian Empire, which included the Fertile Crescent and parts of modern- day Iran, India, Turkey and Egypt.
