Department of Psychology One University Place Shreveport, LA 71115- Assistant Professor in Psychology Tenure-Track Position The Department of Psychology at Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS) is seeking applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position effective August 2020. The candidate will contribute to the cross-disciplinary needs of the Department, including but not limited to teaching undergraduate courses in the Psychology Department, and graduate courses in the Specialist in School Psychology and Masters in Counseling programs. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service to the university, community, and professional organizations. Teaching assignments will accommodate the candidate’s expertise and interests. Current departmental priorities are undergraduate courses in applied behavior analysis, research methods, and psychometrics. Candidates with expertise and interest in applied behavior analysis and on-line instruction are strongly preferred in order to contribute to the development of a Behavior Analysis Concentration for undergraduate psychology majors at LSUS. Salary and benefits are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Minimum qualifications are a doctoral degree with a concentration in Behavior Analysis, School Psychology, or closely related field; applicants who are A.B.D. may be considered. Applicants with or who are eligible for Board Certification in Behavior Analysis are encouraged to apply to the position.
