Don Martin Pinedo Acuña
Is an Alto Misayoc, which is one of the highest ranks in Andean Shamanism. Martin is part of the Q'ero Tribe that has passed hundreds of years of healing traditions from generation to generation. Martin is the keeper of the sacred mountain Pachatusan , (known as the axis to the earth) he connects with Apu's or spirits of the mountains daily For over 26 years he has been giving guidance to his people and hundreds of visitors from around the world. He is an amazing seer (clairvoyant), he performs daily coca leaf readings, healings, cleansings, extractions, and purifications for the people of this town Wasao, just outside Cusco, Peru. Born into a modest peasant family in the Andean community of Paccopata, in the province of Paruro, he was only 10 years old when first visited by the Condor, the spiritual Apu of the Andes which also became his spiritual name El Condor. He was given these special clairyovent gifts and energy of the Condor, the most powerful flying bird on earth. He does amazing cleansing and healings over the luminous body ( Kanchay) he also gives beautiful sounding vibrational healings by playing the flute with Andean tunes.
Isabel Chinguel & Olinda Pintado
Isabel is from Singo in the province of Huancabamba, and Olinda is from Huancabamba village they are soul twins, also known as Yanatin-Masintin. For 26 years, they have practiced northern ancestral medicine in the city of Chiclayo. Their wonderful working relationship allows them to heal many kinds of terminal illnesses. Traveling to Huancabamba with their clients, Isabel and Olinda always make use of the sacred waters of the magical Huaringas Lakes. Isabel is well known as having “angel hands” from people from all over the world that have traveled to Huaringas for a healing bath with the twins. They perform the sacred plant ceremonies with San Perdo, use cards for diagnosis, practice herbalism, and do flowering baths as well. The book “ The Gift of Life: Female Spirituality and Healing in Northern Peru” by Bonnie Glass-Coffin features the miracle healings the twins have facilitated.
Marco Nuñez Zamalloa ( Shaman Facilitator & Intepreter)Marco was born and raised in Cusco-Peru, and his family comes from Anta Province near Cusco. Living on his grandparent's farmland, he was awakened to the call from Apus (mountain spirits) and Pachamama (mother earth) at an early age. Marco began working in tourism at the early age of 16, exploring the jungles of Peru to the tops of the Andes. He owns Frontier Expeditions leading tours throughout Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador, trekking nearly 30,000 miles over the last 30 years. Marco studied business administration and tourism at San Antonia Abad del Cusco University. He speaks five languages fluently and is a professional tour conductor, having owned his own tour company for many years. Marco is the facilitator and interpreter for the shaman group, leads them on US tours and he has studied to become an Andean shaman.
