Quality Assurance Analyst & Instructor, Florida Department of Transportation, Tallahassee Oct 2015 - Present Developed supportive training material for the Quality Management Dashboard and the Annual Employee Survey including: the

Quality Management Dashboard User Guide; the Quality Management Dashboard Training Video Script; the Annual Employee Survey Administration Process Aide and Tracker; the Reading and Interpreting Survey Reports Guide; and the step-by-step guide for running crucial Employee Survey Reports.

Instrumental in the development, planning, and testing of the Quality Management Dashboard through extensive research into possible application programs and industry best standards, and through all-encompassing testing and updating of the system.

Administered the 2016 Employee Survey, then input and helped compile data from the survey for the Executive Staff team. Willingly volunteered or assisted with other duties and responsibilities such as: updating the FDOT Quality Assurance and

US Navy Officer, San Diego, CA / Yokosuka, Japan / Tallahassee, FL Feb 2009 – Sept 2015Officer Recruiter and Division Officer

Coordinated with four major universities, resulting in over 30 qualified Officer application submissions and over 15 selections, surpassing the year’s goals by 100%. Increased Enlisted recruitment by over 200% within the first year, and increased recruitment levels in all objective categories throughout the second year. Won Division of the Year for 2014.

Conducted and oversaw the training for 20 Enlisted Recruiters and 15 Officer Recruiters including: topics on mentorship; workplace safety; Officer Program requirements; and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response.

Deck Department 2nd and 3rd Division Officer Directed two divisions with over 70 personnel simultaneously. Strategically planned and oversaw over 50,000 hours of daily,

weekly, monthly, and annual repairs and scheduled maintenance for equipment in over 30 external and internal spaces, with a near 100% completion rate. Effectively identified and repaired numerous structural, safety and equipment issues.

Managed a Damage Control Team of over 100 personnel. Responsibilities included: identifying damage control team shortages and correcting them; swiftly and accurately directing multiple specialized teams to reported accidents and structural damage; maintaining essential communications between all other Damage Control Teams and the ship’s command center; and monitoring of all individual damage control qualifications and training. Rated #1 of 10 for 2 years consecutively.

Weapons Department Ordnance and Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) Officer Supervised and managed ammunition handling, training, and qualifications of over 40 personnel across 5 separate divisions in 3

different departments, and 5 personnel in charge of the CIWS simultaneously. Analyzed and rebuilt an entire safety program from the ground up, then implemented the procedures and policies for proper

acquiring, transfer, storage, and expenditure of all ammunition onboard. Conducted and oversaw training for proper ammunition handling, use, and storage. Military inspectors cited program as one of the best safety programs ever reviewed.

Managed the operations and maintenance of a critical gun system, culminating in over 2,000 hours of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual repairs and scheduled maintenance, and the complete repair of a catastrophic system failure.

Managed a Damage Control Team of over 50 personnel and responsible for a third of the ship’s internal and external spaces.
