I will have a chance to go to 3 cities on a boat. I picked these three cities New York, Rome and Athens. I picked these cities because New York is the biggest city in the world, Rome has the most things to see and Athens is the city where civilization started. I will cross Pacific Ocean to go to New York and cross Atlantic Ocean to get to Rome, and finally Mediterranean Sea will lead me to Athens.

New York is one of the worlds biggest city. It has a very large population of people. The Statue of Liberty is a gift from the French to commemorate the 1876 Centennial. The Statue of Liberty is located in a small island called Ellis island. The 102-story New York City landmark known as the “Empire State Building” was the tallest building in the world from 1931 to 1971. Following the destruction of the World Trade Center in 2001, the Empire State Building once again became the tallest building in the New York City.

Rome is one of the most historic place. There are still ancient theaters or temples left in the city. One of the most popular places is the Colosseum. Colosseum was a large center for entertainment. It took ten years to build of marble and limestone. The Colosseum was the largest building of its kind. It could seat 45,000 people. This is where the Romans gathered to watch the gladiators. Vatican City is the smallest city-state in the world, with only 880 people, but is one of the most visited. This is mainly because it is in the middle of Rome and the 14.4 acres are packed with some of the world's most beautiful churches and museums. Although Vatican City is an independent country, it is completely surrounded by the city of Rome.

A magical city. The city with the most glorious history in the world, is worshipped by gods and people. The enchanting capital of Greece has always been the birthplace of civilization. It is the city where democracy was born and most of the wise men of ancient times. The most important civilization of ancient world flourished in Athens and relives through superb architectural masterpieces.
