ANDREY CHERNUSHOV – THE SPORT PRIDE OF OUR VILLAGE!

Hello! My name is Nastya! I live in a small village Srednyaya Matrenka. It is so beautiful and picturesque. But most of all it is famous for its people: friendly, hardworking and hospitable. One of them is Andrey Chernushov, the sport pride of our village.

Andrey was an ordinary boy at school. When he was in the 10th form he took the second place in the district race. In a year he became the first. The teachers advised him to go in for sport more seriously. So he entered the sport faculty of the college in Usman. And later he became the student of Lipetsk University.

The beginning of his carrier was very successful. He took silver and bronze medals eleven times! He was the champion of Russia in 2002 in 20km race and in 2006 in the marathon in the championship of Russia.

He took part in sport competitions in different countries : Portugal, Sweden, France, Monako, China, Marocco .

But you know , sport is a very difficult profession. It’s a pity, but Andrey had several hurts so he had to give it up. But he never regrets about it – he made friends all over the world.
