DESCRIPTION

Angela Gucwa was named a doctor of medicine in 2006 upon graduation from the Medical College of Georgia, located in Augusta Georgia. Becoming a doctor had been Angela Gucwa’s goal since she was a young girl because she felt a calling to help others. Of course Angela Gucwa knew that goal was not accomplished just by finishing medical school. Since her graduation, Angela Gucwa has completed a surgical residency and moved on to a fellowship in vascular surgery to hone her skills.

graduate Angela Gucwa is a vascular surgery fellow in the Greenville Health System in Greenville, South Carolina. Angela Gucwa began her fellowship in July 2012 and will complete her training and graduate in June 2014. After graduating from her vascular surgery residency, Angela Gucwa will be board eligible in the field of vascular surgery. During her time as a vascular surgery fellow, Angela Gucwa has continued to write scientific articles about her work.

alumna Angela Gucwa graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 2006. While at the Medical College of Georgia, Angela Gucwa pursued her goal of becoming a surgeon. By remaining at the Medical College of Georgia for her surgical residency, Angela Gucwa was also able to help others pursue that dream by working as an instructor for both Phase I and Phase III medical students in general surgery during the 2008-2009 school year.
