The Aligning Efforts & Integrated Support project is aimed at leveraging and coordinating the expertise of the Arizona Department of Education to support and empower districts and schools as they work to dramatically improve student achievement.
Aligning Efforts COP• Decision makers, authority to make
commitments• Align and cross-walk the efforts,
responsibilities and requirements of units/sections/divisions
• Focus on “BIG ROCKS”– Streamline reporting duplication– Leverage grants – Develop a “common language”
• Provide support and oversight to Integrated Support initiative
• Meets on a monthly basis • Communiques are circulated to Integrated Support COP and Teams, other units, and leadership

• Identify appropriate personnel for Integrated Support Teams
• Develop and implement roll out of Integrated Support initiative with pilot districts
• Develop the Integrated Support Teams’ structure: action plans, protocols, etc.

with LEAs/schools to meet identified needs• Meet on an ad hoc basis, but at least once a month• Communiques circulated to Integrated Support COP,
