How to Use This Workbook

This workbook was designed to be a partner in guiding you through the early stages of learning about the practice of Animal Communication as well as more advanced practices as you develop and improve your skill sets.

It is intended to assist you in your process of learning to communicate with animals, and can be used in combination with any of my other training programs and associated workbooks, which you can learn more about by visiting www.efilsgod.com and www.efilsgodSpirit.com.

Above all, please don’t procrastinate. Something called you to pick up this workbook -- whatever it is, no matter what, be it your love for animals, your desire to be of service to them, to yourself or to others, or your willingness to learn new ways of connecting and communicating with others, please get started now.

So many times, The Universe steps up to the plate to assist us in achieving our dreams and the only thing that stands in the way of the completion of those things is the action we take (or sometimes fail to take.)

Your true power, happiness and joy is waiting just beyond the actions you take. This workbook will assist you in that process.

Do the exercises herein and use your social activities and relationships to practice your gifts and newly acquired skills sets as often as possible. Before you realize it, you will be participating in two way dialogues with animals and humans even better than you can imagine!

Getting Started

The best way to get started is to begin with a daily meditation program where you meditate for at least 5-10 minutes daily. Even if you can’t do it every day, do it as often as you can. Use the Animal Communication meditation to assist you. New behaviors become routine when they have been practiced with consistency for 30 days.

I recommend using a daily meditation log for the first 30 days so you can track your progress until it really does become a regular and routine behavior for you. It really does get easier the more you practice.

Practicing Gratitude

Gratitude helps us get closer to animals, to ourselves and to others. I recommend practicing the art of gratitude on a daily basis by writing a gratitude list every day and reiterating your gratitude, particularly to animals, as often as possible.

Even in the moments when we forget all that we have and how much we have been blessed, we always have something to be grateful for, and remembering those things helps us to open up to more things to be grateful for. Below is a space for you to write a gratitude list of things which you can call upon any time you need to remind yourself just how truly blessed you are and have been:

Building Confidence

Before we can become truly effective Animal Communicators, we must build our confidence. Part of the process of developing our inner confidence is to first recognize those things which might stand in our way of being effective animal communicators. Those things are usually fears, worries and doubts. Once we recognize those things, it is easier to let them go, knowing that that’s all they are: fears, worries and doubts, and they are not real. Moreover, they don’t serve us at all, in fact their only real service is to limit us.

The process of letting them go is incredibly powerful. Please list as many of them below, in the privacy of this workbook. As you do so, set the intention and feel in your heart that you are ready, willing and able to let those fears, worries and doubts go from your own energy field, with ease and grace, the moment you put them on the paper below.

Paying Attention to Energy

Studying energy and how it affects living beings:

Go into the following places and make note of how you feel (emotionally, physically and any other way you may have been affected):

•A crowded grocery store •A traffic jam in the middle of rush hour•A doctors office•Your work space or office•A spiritual retreat•Your parent’s house•Your bedroom•A busy coffee house•A quiet coffee house•Somewhere in nature

Notice how different you feel in each of the above locations. Humans, like all animals, tend to absorb the energy of their environments -- that’s a major reason that being in environments which appeal to each of us is so important. The way you feel in each of the above locations is related to the energy in each of those places.

Paying Attention to Signs, Cues, Messages and Signals

Part of being an outstanding communicator is to know what the signs, cues, messages and signals that come to you mean and knowing how to translate those to English. You will, over time, learn to interpret and translate each of the signs, cues, messages and signals which come to you.

List below some of the signs, cues, messages and signals that you can use for communication on a regular basis and what their respective meanings are to you:

Getting In Touch With Your Senses

Every animal communicator (as well as every professional psychic intuitive) has their own individual strengths and personal senses which serve him or her best.

As indicated in my Animal Communication eBook, “Learn to Communicate with Animals”, the key methods in which animals communicate include:

•Pictures and visual cues •Physical sensations in your own body •Feelings and emotions •Smells (you may actually smell these with your nose, or you may smell them with your mind)•Tastes (you may actually taste these with your mouth, or you may taste them with your mind)•Sounds and auditory cues(you may actually hear these with your ear, or you may hear them with your mind)•Knowing

Your task is to learn to develop each of these, knowing that you will generally excel in one or two of the areas, depending on your unique strengths. Here are some practice exercises to help you determine which of the cues you believe you are most effective at, thereby developing your skill set and your confidence.

Pictures and Visual Cues:•See in your mind a picture of yourself as a child•See in your mind a picture of your best friend•See in your mind a picture of your favorite pet, now see that pet rolling on the ground, now see that pet eating, now see that pet playing, now see that pet sleeping. Now turn up all of the colors in what you see, and now make it black and white.•Note how distinctively you could see each visual. Was it easy to recall how each of those items looked simply by using your mind to remember the mental picture?


Physical Sensations:•Feel your feet with your mind•Feel your hands with your mind•Feel your stomach with your mind, now make your stomach smile, feel a smile in your stomach, now change that feeling to an upset stomach, and then change it again to a calm and relaxed stomach. •Note how distinctively you could feel each sensation. Was it easy to recall how each of those sensations felt simply by using your mind to remember them?

Feelings and Emotions:•Feel sadness•Feel happiness•Feel joy•Feel anger•Fee grief•Take each of those emotions and amplify each one, sitting with each feeling until you can accurately distinguish it from each of the others. •Practice switching back and forth from one emotion to another.•Note how distinctively you could feel each emotion. Was it easy to recall how each of those items felt simply by using your mind to remember the sensation?

Smells:•Smell a rose in your mind•Smell your favorite dinner from childhood•Smell freshly brewed coffee, now add cinnamon to the coffee, now smell that coffee as burnt coffee.•Take each of those smells and amplify each one. •Practice switching back and forth from one smell to another.•Note how distinctively you could smell each one. Was it easy to recall how each of those items smelled simply by using your mind to remember the smell?


Tastes:•Taste coffee with your mind•Taste pasta with tomato sauce with your mind•Taste ice cream with your mind; now make the ice cream chocolate, now make the ice cream strawberry and now make it vanilla.•Now take each of the tastes and amplify each one.•Practice switching back and forth from one flavor to another.•Note how distinctively you could taste each one. Was it easy to recall how each of those items tasted simply by using your mind to remember the taste?

Sounds:•Hear a school bell with your mind•Hear a rooster with your mind•Hear a crying baby with your mind•Now make the baby’s cry louder, and then softer.•Again, note how distinctively you can hear each of the sounds. Was it easier or more difficult to recall the sounds versus utilizing the other senses?

Of the six senses (physical sensations and emotional senses were listed separately and distinctly) we tapped into by using our minds, which one worked best for you? Know this: as you practice using each of these, you will get better and better at using them, and the more of them you can use with confidence, the more effectively you can communicate with animals.

Putting It Into Practice

Ultimately, all of the meditation, gratitude and releasing of old, limiting beliefs, fears, worries and doubts alone is not going to make you an outstanding animal communicator. In the end, the most effective way to become a confident and outstanding animal communicator is through regular practice.

There are two key ways you can do this. First, you can practice on your own, knowing that you won’t have any human feedback to confirm or validate what you know. The other way is to practice with a pet and that pet’s parent/guardian so you can receive the validation you will inevitably require to build your confidence.

Practicing on your own can be quite simple. Here are some places to practice:

1. The zoo2. The aquarium3. The outdoor coffee shop4. The park5. With friends and their pets6. Animal rescue and rehabilitation organizations7. Pet stores8. With your pets :)

From the Animal’s Perspective

As was discussed in the “Learn to Communicate with Animals” eBook, it is important to interpret things through the animal’s perspective rather than through the human’s perspective.

Here are some examples of seeing from the animal’s perception:

•Imagine you are a giraffe. What is your viewpoint?•Imagine you are a bird in a garden. What is your interpretation?•Imagine you are a fish in a fish tank. What do you perceive?•Imagine you are an ant. What is your understanding?

In each case, try to perceive what the animal might perceive with each of the mind’s senses which we reviewed in the preceding pages.

Remember to consider the following factors:•Size perception•Height perception•Time perception (animals don’t consider time the way we do; for them, everything is in the present moment)•Gender perception (animals don’t have the same issues of gender)•Religion, race, nationality perception•Labels and words (animals typically haven’t been formally taught the •English language, or any other language for that matter)•Emotional perception (much like humans, animals can’t always understand or explain the emotions they are feeling, let alone identify every one of them)

Laying the Proper Foundation and Setting the Stage

Laying the proper foundation for effective animal communication is an essential ingredient to quality reading. List some elements of laying the proper foundation and setting the stage for effective animal communication:

Charting Your Progress

Remember, it is so important to honor everything and write it all down. I cannot stress this enough: honor everything! Don’t ever dismiss anything, because you might dismiss something that is actually very important. The process of dismissing things is the human thinking it’s not important when it often is.

Honor it, and write it down. Ask more questions. And repeat the process.If you don’t get an answer, ask again and this time, ask for more clarity and trust.

Below is a practice log, so you can chart your practice and write everything you receive down:

About efil’s god

efil’s god (spelled backward is dog’s life) is dedicated to teaching us All how to speak this Universal Language of Love.

In the year and a half since I made that request to the Universe, I have:•Completely rid myself of all pharmaceutical drugs, tobacco and alcohol.•Let go of 65 pounds of weight which I was carrying around.•Eliminated over $100,000 in bad debt.•Removed myself from the unhealthy relationships of my past, including past employers who were not able to see the true love, joy and happiness which exists everywhere, in everyone and established new, healthy and fulfilling relationships.•Radically transformed my thoughts, beliefs, ideologies and knowing, essentially re-programming my brain and my body for a new and higher level of experience, so that I am able to give and receive love, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, laugher and joy in ways I never knew possible.•Started a new business with no money whatsoever.

And I did all of this in the face of my own disease, divorce, re-location, job change and the death of my most loved pet, companion and (for me, my) child, Kenya.
