The ideas behind the workshops are connected directly to the idea of light; Its effects through transparent surfaces, the shadows cast by objects inhibiting light, uses of light reflecting and enhancing materials and surfaces. The workshops also aim to promote art methods that leave minimal footprint. By using recycled and repurposed materials and by striving to abolish waste and damage that could be left after the workshops have ended. The diversity in projects will ensure a broad range of participants.
