PurposeThe purpose of this advert is to create a humorous effect for the audience and star wars fans and it is also used to create a tribute towards the new star wars film which is coming out and it’s also a reference to the Film 4 SCI-FI month.Film Genre chosenThe film genre I have chosen is Sci-fi, I have chosen to use Sci-fi as it has a huge audience and attraction, it also one of my favourite film genre’s and finally the Sci-fi genre itself would appeal to those who love Lego and Star Wars this will boost it’s popularity.Style of Stop Motion AnimationThe style of stop motion i have chosen is Brick Animation, I have chosen this style because I thought it would be a good idea and it’s a fairly easy idea which you can do a lot of thing’s with this animation technique, I have also chosen this style as this style of Animation was the one that I found the most appealing and the one that I found the most enjoyable out of all the Animatons that I watched.

AudienceMy target Audience would mainly be for children/teenagers as it reflects on the project i am creating and it could also be used for all ages really, It’s also for both genders so I will make sure that there is no sexism in the animation. I chose this target Audience because I feel that it’s the most appealing to that ind of Age category, it also wouldn’t contain any explicit content, or racist content this why I have chosen that age Category.Legal and Ethical ConsiderationsOne of the legal problems could be the copyright of music; some may find the animation sexist. Also the Lego figures and the star wars characters are not my own product so there could be some issues.There are no ethical problems in my scene as I will make sure I won’t cause any ethical problems. There could be some controversial issues with the Animation whether the Music is copyrighted or the Way the Characters are used in the Animtion could offend some or possibly scare others.Regulations and Codes of Practice

I will make sure that the Animation doesn’t cause any problems; I will make sure that it’s not racist or sexist. I will also make sure that it doesn’t have anything which may offend people from other nationalities. I will also take into consideration about the age range of my Animation and not change that.. I will make sure to include the Film 4 logo to show that it’s a advert. I will also make sure that I fulfil all of these guide lines to make my animation up to Standard and not tweak anything which doesn’t match with the guidelines.
