Swedish AFO is an injection moulded polyethylene splint thatprovides static dorsiflexion assistance and lateral stability for theentire foot-ankle area. Injection moulding allows for thickerpolyethylene on the vertical aspect for rigidity and a thinnerfootplate that can be trimmed with a pair of ordinary scissors. Aheat gun may be used to further form the splint if desired. The lowarch and open heel give this splint a streamlined profile that fitseasily into any shoe. Padded hook and loop strap secures the AFOaround the calf. Mens fits up to size 11, Womens up to size 71/2.

A lightweight, orthosis you can custom fabricate right in your officeor in the O.R. It provides progressive correction of hallux valgus anddelivers complete toe stability. Simply heat the thermo-mouldablesplint blank in a hot water bath (order separately Code 2666) thenmould it to the user. Once cooled, it holds its shape and will notstretch. You can mould the HVO to exact correction, either post-surgically or as a night splint, and remould it for progressivesplinting. Eliminate the bulky bandages and plaster associated withpost-operative care. The HVO holds the toe position and still allowsfor post-op swelling – just loosen the Velcro® strap (included).
