Moderne) on the weekend of 23 to 25 Dec 2017 where you can witness friendships blooming

over cultural exchanges and quirky moments over the Christmas period.

Market for Artists and Designers (MAAD)

Date: 8 - 31 December 2017 (every Friday – Sunday)

Time: 3pm – 10pm (Friday – Sunday), 5pm – 2am (31 December 2017)

Venue: Marina Bay waterfront promenade, outside Red Dot Design Museum

Organised by the Red Dot Design Museum as a platform for local designers and artists to

showcase their crafts, MAAD offers an extensive range of original, artisanal goods and

services offered by local designers and artists. From fashion, crafts & accessories to

literature, photography and creative services, get all set to bag your loot!

MBSC Charity Trail

Date: 10 – 31 December 2017

Venue: Marina Bay

The MBSC Charity Trail, hosted on the “LocoMole” smartphone application, is a self-guided

digital walking trail that allows you to explore hotspots around Marina Bay, complete tasks

at 11 hotspot locations and earn rewards. In the process, you will learn about the various

charities that the partners and stakeholders support, and can choose to make a donation or

sign up as a volunteer at the charity organisations.

To participate, download the “LocoMole” smartphone application and begin navigation by

foot through the hotspots. These hotspots include iconic developments and attractions

around the bay such as The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay,

Prudential Marina Bay Carnival

Date: 15 December 2017 - 1 April 2018

Time: 4pm – 11pm (Daily), 3pm – 2am (24 & 31 December 2017)

Venue: The Promontory @ Marina Bay & Bayfront Event Space

Featuring over 40 fun and exhilarating rides and games assembled from different parts of the

world – from roller coasters to water rides – Prudential Marina Bay Carnival promises to be

loads of fun for families and thrill-seekers!

The two major zones – Celebration Zone and Thrill Zone, each with its own distinctive

highlights, will certainly capture the hearts of both the young and young at heart. Expect

different themes and programme offerings every month. Don’t miss out on themed

entertainment and Instagram-worthy photo installations at the carnival, with special musical

performances on weekends to serenade audiences. Food lovers can also indulge in a

Picnic & Fireworks Viewing @ The Float

Reserve a spot for a lovely evening date with your family, friends or that special someone

by the bay. Immerse in a unique picnic experience on the floating platform while having a

front-row fireworks viewing experience! In the lead up to midnight, revellers can indulge in

a variety of delectable food and drinks at the outdoor marketplace. Tickets are available

online at the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2018 website or Klook website, while stocks

last.

Witness a visual spectacle while the night sky lights up with an array of enchanting colours

this New Year’s Eve!

Themed Bay of Hopes & Dreams, this year’s 6-minute midnight fireworks extravaganza will

be set up in a linear configuration across a larger area of the bay for the first time, bringing

the fireworks closer to all revellers round the bay for an enhanced viewing experience. The

firework display is accompanied by an uplifting and celebratory soundtrack titled The Miracle

composed by Singaporean musician Bang Wenfu.

Be sure to also catch one-minute long firework displays hourly from 8pm to build up the

excitement towards the grand finale at midnight!
