The irrepressible comic strip heroine, Annie, is coming to Anoka Children's Theatre. Little Orphan Annie will charm everyone's heart! Annie is determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other lively and loveable girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of New York City. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. She finds a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. A fun and fabulous story for all ages! This program is made possible through funding from the City of Anoka and presented by special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI), 421 West 54 th Street, New York, NY 10019. WHO: Grades 4-8 WHEN: January 25-March 30, 2016 Performance Dates: March 31, April 1, 2 and 3 WHERE: Anoka Middle School-Fred Moore Campus COST: $109 Registration opens: Friday, November 20 at 9 a.m. Registration deadline: Friday, December 11 at 4 p.m. Please note: Register online at www.discovercommunityed.com. Click on “Youth activities and classes-districtwide.” In order to give everyone a chance for participation, a random drawing will be used if there are more registrations than roles.
