At our February meeting, the Bayside Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Ben Trites as

Executive Director of Bayside Camp.

Earlier this month Ben received a call to ministry with Camp Caroline, a year round Christian camp

and retreat center in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies in Alberta. While we are saddened by this

unexpected turn of events, we are excited to witness his faithfulness in response to Gods leading.

We want to thank Ben for all he has done since 2008 to help build the ministry of Bayside. We have

seen lives changed as he has worked to provide a safe place for all who have come down the hill. He,

Charity and their girls will be greatly missed. We want to assure you that we will be arranging a time

so that everyone can show their appreciation to Ben and Charity this spring.

Ben will continue serving as the Executive Director at Bayside until May 31, and during that time will

work with our year-round staff team to ensure continuity of operations, recruitment of committed

summer staff and volunteers, and delivery of successful Adventure Camps and Summers Camps for

2015.

At this critical time, we covet your prayers - both the corporate prayers of your church and the prayers

of individuals. We encourage you to add this request to any prayer chain that may be in place.

We as a Board will meet again in March to look at options that are available to us and, with God's

guidance, decide on next steps. We are committed to keeping you informed as we work through this

process and will communicate at regular intervals.
