Colleges will be visiting Stagg throughout the fall. Check out the Colleges Visiting Stagg Calendar on the Guidance Webpage to see who's coming and sign up!! "Lucky for you Chargers, we will have a representative from Moraine Valley Community College available in the commons during all lunch periods every other Thursday. Stop by and hear about dual credit options, transfer and career programs! " Attention all college bound chargers! Stagg's Guidance Department is sponsoring a Financial Aid Night this evening @ 7pm in the Performing Arts Center. Please join us to learn ways to help make college more affordable. All college bound students are encouraged to attend! See you tonight! Attention GIRL BASKETBALL Players, there is an Informational meeting Today October 6th at 7:30am in Room 704. Contact Coaches Turner, Ade, McAlpin, Conrath, or Beric with any questions. With Halloween right around the corner, D230's Relay for Life is challenging you to 'Relay If You Dare'. Your challenge is to purchase a long sleeve glow-in-the-dark shirt during lunch periods. Pre-orders will be taken from 10/12-10/14, and we expect the shirts to be in before Halloween. This shirt is a symbol to you and your friends that you have accepted the challenge to help the D230 Relay for Life fight cancer. Instead of scaring off ghosts and goblins this Halloween, let's scare away cancer V-Show auditions are next week Monday or Tuesday. Sign-up in the main office. There will only be 1 variety show this year, so this is your chance to sing, dance, play in a band or show off any of your amazing talents. Any questions see Mr. Lewis or Mrs. Preto for more info. Senior Class student council will have a meeting on Thursday October 8th in room 413 @ 7:30am A mandatory meeting for Boys Bowling will be held on Monday Oct. 12th in room 537 at 3:10. Any boy interested in trying out for this year’s team must attend this meeting or see Coach Jelcic. Tryouts will be held on Oct 26th. You will not be allowed to tryout if a physical and parent permission form are not turned in. This week’s music in the hallways is brought to you by our own Stagg Marching Band. Underclass picture retakes will be on Monday, October 12 th during lunches in the Commons. If you are getting a retake, please pick up a picture order form from the desk North Door during your lunch. A BIG Congratulations to our Freshman Football Team on a combined 55-0 victory over Bolingbrook High School. The future is bright for our Freshman Football Team. Today is our Charger Nation SOCCER GAME. Come out and support your boys soccer team as they take on Joliet West at 5:45. Dress in your favorite orange shirt!
