Announcements – November 19, 2015
Attention College-Bound Chargers! Colleges will be visiting Stagg throughout the fall. Check out the
Colleges Visiting Stagg Calendar on the Guidance Webpage to see who's coming and sign up!!
Semester 1 Final Exams are right around the corner. If you will not be here to take a Final Exam on
December 17, 18, or 21st due to travel or any other reason you must come to the Main Office to start
the paperwork. Pursuant to the School Board Policy, a $53 fee will be charged for each exam that will
be rescheduled. Early Exam Requests will be taken in the Main Office starting Monday, November
9th through Thursday, December 10th.
The Stagg Athletic Boosters will be giving a Practice ACT test on Saturday, December 5th.This test will be scored and you will have the results in time for your spring tests. You can sign up and return your form and payment to the cashier’s office by December 1st. Forms are available in the main office, the cashier’s office and will be emailed home to you. Reminder! Drama Club meeting this Friday at 3:10!
Don't forget to come out and support your classmates at V-Show this Thursday thru Saturday at 7 in the PAC! Ticket prices are lower this year, and are only $5 for students if you buy them at lunch! With totally different shows Thursday and Friday, you have the power to vote for who makes the final show on Saturday! Senior Class Student Council will be sponsoring their annual turkey bowl on Wednesday, November 25th right after school. This will be a co-ed flag football game. Gather your teams of 7 and sign up during your lunch. Sign up forms are available during your lunch. Attention Chargers: This Thursday, November 19th the Stagg Athletic Boosters will be selling Spirit Wear in the Commons during all lunch periods. As the Holidays approach keep in mind Charger gear makes great gifts! Orders forms are available in the main office. The Athletic Department will be sponsoring Open Conditioning beginning Nov. 30th for any student that is interested. The conditioning will run on Mondays at 6:00 AM and on Wednesdays at 3:00 PM. Please see Coach O’Neill in the Guidance Department if you have any questions. Congrats to the Special Olympics Basketball team on a 34-28 victory against SPEED last night at home in front of a capacity crowd. Mustafa led the way in scoring with 10 points. 5 Chargers: Marium, Mo the Animal, Eleazar, and Brad connected from the field in the winning effort. Mo Hamed was a rebounding machine and Carlene locked the Racers down on defense to secure the win. A special thanks goes out Coach Evoy and her cheering Chargers for getting the crowd pumped up for the action! The Deans’ Office would like to inform everyone that, due to early release next Wednesday, November 25th, the activity bus will run at 2:00 PM and the Athletic bus will run at 4:00 PM. All seniors graduating in December need to report to the PAC 4th hour today for an important presentation from Moraine Valley. Attendance will be taken.
