MEN & WOMEN

MEN’S GROUP– Men's is done for the summer. If you are still looking for some-thing to do on Thursday evenings, some men from the church will go for coffee at Tim Hortons by the Gallagher Center around 8pm.

WEEKLY WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY– will resume in the fall.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

ECHO LAKE BIBLE CAMP- Echo Lake Bible Camp is holding a fundraising Gold Tournament this year - Saturday, September 10 at Echo ridge Golf Course, Fort Qu'Ap-pelle. They are looking for hole sponsors, door prize donations and participates. For more information, contact Jason Bow-en (306)421-2352 or James Graham (306)332-4443.

DIVORE CARE– We will have a new Di-vorce Care program beginning this fall here at the church. This program will run on Tuesdays at 6:30pm from September 6th until December 6th. For more information or to register for this class, please speak to Jennifer Loewen.

SEARCH COMMITTEE UPDATE- The Search Committee met on August 2, 2016. During our meeting we evaluated the applications that we had received since our last meeting and the 3 that we have carried forward from that meeting. Out of the applications, we have narrowed the number of applications to 3 potential applicants. The next step in the process is to contact the applicants for an initial interview to obtain further information. This will be conducted by 2 or 3 people in the search committee. After this has been done, we will meet to distribute the answers that we have received to the search committee. At that time we are looking to narrow the candidate field to 1 prospective applicant. We will keep you informed of the progress as we move forward. Thank you.
