Come and meet Erica Austin, What Every Child Should Know About Prayer: From a Child’s Point of View’s author. Dressy attire is required for this event. Jeans and tennis shoes are not allowed. Also, youth are asked to partici-pate in the Youth Canned Food Drive Con-test to fight hunger in the communi-ty. The top 6 winners will receive a prize. First Mount Zion Baptist Church is seek-ing to fill a Director of Small Groups Minis-try vacancy. The director identifies, devel-ops, equips, evaluates and disciples small groups coaches and leaders within the church. The director is committed to shar-ing and implementing the vision of the church by establishing community through small groups. Duties include budget man-agement; program development and eval-uation; screening, orientation and ongoing training of servant leaders; regular com-munication with and management of coaches and group leaders; writing and identifying studies, planning and market-ing ministry events. The director also develops budgets, policies, procedures and processes governing the implementa-tion, operation and growth of the Small Groups Ministry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in productivity software; specifically, Outlook, MS Word, Power Point and Excel. Video production soft-ware desired but not required. Must be able to pass a background check, pos-sess a valid driver’s license, work a full time flexible work schedule and be willing to travel.
