AnnouncementsConfessions: Confessions will be heard at approximately 11AM before Sunday Mass when Mass time is at 11:30 AM and by appointment.Financial Summary: A quarterly financial summary is on the white board in the foyer which shows how contributions are keeping up with operating expenses and helping pay against the church’s mortgage. The goal is to have the first collection cover the monthly expenses. This means that $1,400 is needed weekly to meet the expenses. If the first collection does not cover expenses, funds from the 2nd collection (building fund) have to be used. Meeting about Zoning Change. The Parish Planning Meeting and Parish Council Meeting related to the zoning change required to construct the community center will both be on June 23, 2020. We ask for maximum participation from everyone. The meeting will be held at the CastineCenter, 63350 Pelican Drive, Mandeville LA 70448, at 6:00 PM on June 23, 2020. Raffle Tickets: There are still over 1200 raffle tickets to be sold. We are in the home stretch to finish selling all the tickets. We appreciate the efforts to make this happen. If you have not received any tickets to distribute please reach out to Matt Billeaud or Alan Amato. If you need help selling your tickets please turn them in for redistribution. We are planning for the drawing to be held after Mass on July 12th.

Mass Intentions: Please submit all intentions directly to the priest and include whether the person is living or deceased. The SSPX U.S. District has set the requested Mass stipend amount at $20 per Mass.Groundskeeping: See Steven Hotard if you are able to assist with the various tasks required to keep the property maintained.

Out of respect for Our Lord and for the edification of our neighbor, we ask everyone to appear in Church modestly dressed.The following do not meet the norms of Christian modesty: For men, nothing tacky or casual like shorts, t-shirts etc. For women…slacks, sleeveless shirts, and low cut/short dresses. Flip-flops are not appropriate for both men and women. Women are further asked to cover their heads.

We welcome all visitors and faithful who are assisting at Mass. The Mass is celebrated in the Tridentine Rite according to the 1962 Missal. Church law requires those receiving Holy Communion to be practicing Catholics, fasting for at least one hour, and in the state of grace.
