Global Spectrum • celebrateditsseventhyearofLightUpUCF,entertainingmorethan 100,000guestsandcontinuingtocreatemeaningfulcommunitypartnerships. • builtbetterpartnershipswithpromotorsforCFEArenaeventsand restructureditspromotermarketingprogram,whichgenerated additionalrevenueandincreasedticketsalesandshowattendance. Additionally,promoterparticipationincreasedby100percentand experienceforpromotersimprovedthroughsalesofspaceonselect billboards,electronicboards,socialmedia,andothermanagedmedia. • entertainedmorethan2,000guestsatthethirdannualTouch-a-Truck event.ThiswasstrategicallytimedtoprecedeaUCFwomen’s basketballgame,whichcontributedtomakingitthethirdhighest attendedwomen’sbasketballgameatUCF.

Landscape and Natural Resources • planted227treesandconductedmaintenancepruningon796hardwood trees;removed31treesthatweredamagedbystormsordisease;and conducted12airspadingprojectstoremedytreerootissues. • successfullycompletedthreeSaintJohn’sRiverWaterManagement Districtcomplianceprojects. • completed45campusenhancementsand30in-houselandscapeand irrigationprojectstorenovateworn-outareasandprovideamore pleasantlearningandworkingenvironment.

Parking and Transportation Services • transported1.8millionstudentsonUCF’ssustainableshuttlebus service,78percentofwhomreportowningvehiclesbutusethe shuttletocometocampus.Inaddition,40ofthebusesarebio-diesel andfouroperateonpropane,reducingtheirenvironmentalimpact. • installedthreecomplimentaryelectricvehiclechargingstationsto accommodatethepopularityofalternativefuelvehiclesoncampus. • sold58,230student,faculty,andstaffparkingpermitsandissued 35,813parkingcitations. • greetedandserved25,268campusguestsattheVisitorInformation Center. • reducedthepriceofhangtagpermitsby20percentandmaintained thepriceofparkingdecalsandtheTransportationAccessFee. • implementedaconvenientTuesdaygroceryshuttleserviceforstudents livingoncampus,withanaverageof107ridersperday. • implementedaSaturdayshuttlebusservicefor21off-campusapartment complexes.

Security and Emergency Management • establishedtheOfficeofSecurityManagementtoprovideoversight oncamerasystemsandaccesscontroluniversity-wide. • enhancedorganizationalresiliencybyexpandingUCF’sContinuityof OperationsProgramwith16newdepartmentalplans. • establishedtheDesignationofPersonnelforEmergenciesPolicyand instructedmorethan150hoursofIncidentCommandcoursesin supportofthepolicy.

UCFCC • completedPhaseIofKnightsPlazalandscape,streetscape,andwalk wayrenovations. • completedastudythatrevealedprojectsustainabilitydeficienciesand willservetoguideUCFCC’sfuturephysicalassetrenovation, replacement,andreinvestment. • achieved100percentretailoccupancyatKnightsPlazaforthefirsttime.

University Police • placedinthetopthreeintheStateUniversityCategoryoftheFlorida LawEnforcementChallenge,arewardprogramfortrafficsafety,for thesecondyearinrow.SevenotherFloridauniversitiesparticipated inthechallenge. • providedcost-freeridestostudentsandstaffduringlatenighthours, withanincreaseof60percent(7,501ridersin2013-14vs.11,992 ridersin2014-15).

Utilities and Energy Services • hostedthe8thannualKill-A-Wattsavingscompetition,where3,074 studentslivingoncampusparticipatedinatwo-monthcompetition amonghousingfacilities,saving54,381kilo-Watthours(kWh)and $5,503inenergycost.Fifteenwinnersreceivedscholarshipprizesof $100-$750basedonanessaysubmissionaboutreducingenergy greaterthan5percent. • experiencedNaturalGasRateSavingsformultipleaccountsconverted frompurchasedgasaccountratestoderegulatedratestructures,yielding asavingsof$170,255,a44.7percentreductionintotalcost. • generated145,829kWhsinrenewableenergywithGarageB’s107 kWphotovoltaicsystem,savingtheuniversity$14,583. • sponsoredthefirstSustainabilityInnovationCompetitionwiththree winnersreceiving$750scholarshipsbasedontheirsubmissionson howtomakeUCFmoreenvironmentallysustainable. • processedandclosedmorethan1900workorderspertainingto indoorairquality(IAQ)withaclosingtimeoflessthanoneday,an initialresponseoflessthan3.8hours,andcompletedworklessthan 1.5hoursinthefield. • renovatedfourbuildingswithbuildingautomation,control,and distributionsystems,valuingover$200Kinscope:deliveringbuilding comfortandimprovingreliability. • negotiatedtheNaturalGasRatepurchasingstructure,savingUCF 62.6percentannuallyindeliveredcosts($271,098).
