SEED STUDENTS 2013 – 2015 ENGAGEMENT AND SERVICE
Leadership, Service and Internship Experiences
Scholarships for Education and Economic Development (SEED) students at St. Louis Community College volunteer in service to the community. Students draw on these experiences to develop Commitments to Action, projects designed to benefit their home communities.
Cycle 2013 – 2015 student commitments include projects in the areas of:• Education• Water Purification• Repurposing and Recycling• Wildlife Conservation• Poverty Alleviation• Sustainable Agriculture
St. Louis area partner organizations include:• Earthdance Farms• Girls on the Run• Rebuilding Together• Missouri River Relief
SEED and YFU students participated in the STLCC-FV Ferguson community service initiatives.
In 2015, 10 SEED students from St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley were invited to attend Clinton Global Initiative University based on their Commitments to Action for their home communities.

RESOLUTION PROJECT SOCIAL VENTURE CHALLENGE 2015

Seven SEED students were selected to attend the 3 Day Startup, an intensive weekend entrepreneurial workshop. They had to develop a business plan and pitch the business to a panel of experts.
