AspiRE
the mass sPoNsored charity 2013/2014
MASS has been privileged to sponsor Aspire for the last two years, the fundraising for which culminated at the MASS Charity Dinner on Thursday 6th November 2014.
MASS Members have taken up the challenge to raise funds throughout the two year sponsorship tenure of Aspire, which is a national spinal injury charity providing practical help to people who have been paralysed by spinal cord injuries. A spinal cord injury (SCI) can happen to anyone, at any time, and, on average, every eight hours someone is paralysed by an SCI. Aspire exists because there is currently no cure for SCI. Through its projects and programmes, Aspire offers practical support to the 40,000 people living with an SCI in the UK so that they can lead fulfilled and independent lives in their homes, with their families, in work places and in leisure time.
The support given by MASS to this very worthwhile cause has been hugely valued and appreciated by all concerned and we extend our good wishes to Aspire as they continue with their excellent support of people with spinal cord injuries.
