Submission and Approval of the Association’s accounts The Chairman presented the accounts and talked through the balance sheet. The chairman went on to highlighting the founder loans of the association and explained that almost all were being offset against subscription fees, and that two would be repaid in full by the end of 2013. David Chapman (Wyse Travel Confederation) asked about the associations capital and reserves and the outstanding founder loan to Wyse. The chairman responded that as no fees were being paid by Wyse the offset was not in place, however, he hoped to find a suitable solution for this with Wyse in due course. The Chairman reminded the meeting of the motion agreed at a previous AGM that founder loans would not be repaid in cash until the association has one year’s running costs in hand. He went on to explain that the association currently held around £40,000 in reserves vs a founder loan position of around £50,000.
