In the beginning of academic year academic and curricular activities are
planned.
For teaching plan and its execution follow up of maintaining teaching diaries
are taken.
For effective field work practice supervisory inputs are given to the faculties.

At the end of every academic year feedback of faculty has been taken regarding
syllabus of theory and fieldwork practicum by discussing in meetings orally. As our faculty
members are member on BOS committee at University level the feedback given by the
faculties are taken into consideration by them as per the requirement of course for updating of
regulation and revision in syllabus is concerned.

Yes, revision in syllabus has been done in this academic year. In this academic year
revision has been done in the syllabus of B.S.W. (UG) (theory paper) along with this
in the same year revision has been done in the syllabus of M.S.W.(PG) (theory
paper) and credit system (CGPA) has been started. Updating in assessment criteria’s
of theory paper and field work practicum has been done. Moreover weitage in mark
system has been changed. Feedback from the stakeholders (Faculty of the college)
has been taken into consideration by the faculty member who are on BOS committee
and thus they made the above changes in the curricula at university level.

For effective teaching learning we adopt various methods such as class seminar,
guest lecture, film show, chart method, group discussion, skill lab, group conference,
individual conference, orientation visits, concurrent field work placements rural
social work camp and study tour. At the beginning of academic year introduction of
all methods exercise through field work are introduced by the concern faculty for
better understanding of social work method practiced.
Continuous evaluation is carried out throughout the semester through tests,
assignments, field work seminar, viva-voce for field work practicum and research
project. Apart from this, credit system has been started for M.S.W. and changes in
assessment categories of theory paper and field work practicum has been done and
thereby weightage in mark system also has been changed. Taking into consideration
requirement of social work course revision in the syllabus of B.S.W. has been made.
All the above changes has been done by taking suggestions of faculties by the BOS
members of the college at university level in the meetings held at college.

IQAC took initiatives to provide circular regarding minor research projects, seminars,
workshops, conferences to all faculty members. IQAC encourage faculty members to
attend various workshops, seminars, training programmes, orientation/refresher courses
as well as motivates them to send applications for minor research project towards
sponsoring and funding agencies and facilitates faculty to undertake research activities in
their interest areas. College provides administrative and technical support to conduct
research activities. Besides this, IQAC motivated faculty to register their names for Ph.D.
Moreover IQAC encourage faculty members to publish their research work in the form
of books, research papers.
Moreover, faculty of the college worked as Ph.D. Guides and provides research guidance
to the students registered under them.
IQAC take initiative to provide administrative, technical and library support to the
faculty working as research guide. IQAC motivate the faculties to send their proposals
for major research project to different funding agencies. Besides this IQAC encourage
them to send proposals regarding organization of national and state level seminars and
workshops.

Through prospectus students are communicated the detail information about the

Thus, Our College has designed its mission i.e. “pursuit of attitude development”. 6.3.1 Curriculum Development
Faculty of the college works as BOS members at university level. In consultation with
IQAC, senior faculty members and feedback from students, BOS members revise the
curriculum as per UGC guidelines. In this academic year credit system has been started
for MSW course.
6.3.2 Teaching and Learning
Prospectus, academic calendar and master time table has been prepared by faculty
members in consultation with IQAC. Planning of innovative teaching methods which
have to be implemented are finalized after discussing in IQAC meetings. Besides this,
changes made in syllabus and assessment criteria of field work are communicated to
the students in consultation with IQAC by the faculty members. Introductory lectures,
skill lab workshop has been organized for effective teaching and learning process.
Resource person has been invited to deliver lecture regarding implementation of credit
system for this academic year.
6.3.3 Examination and Evaluation
External evaluation of theory papers has been done as per the University rules and
regulations by the faculty members appointed as examiners and moderators. Beside
this research project and internal field work evaluation has been done as per the revised
guidelines. As well as class test and assignments are as per credit system allotted to the
MSW students from this academic year.

awarded Ph.D. by the research guide of our college.

Books, reference books, journals, periodicals, magazines, encyclopedias are updated as
per need and requirement of the curriculum. Besides this, news papers, books relevant
to competitive exams are kept in library for students and faculties. The books
purchased under minor research project has been kept in library for students, research
scholars and faculty members. Ph.D. thesis, CD and videos are kept in library for
references. Wi-Fi system is available for employees and students.

Faculty member are motivated and allowed to attend seminars, workshop and for paper
presentation as well as for other faculty development programme such as experts,
resource person as per the requirement of CAS. Faculties are allowed to attend
orientation, refresher course and short terms courses. ,

The faculties appointed as BOS in consultation with IQAC suggest the changes have
to be made in internal and external evaluation methods both theory and field work
practicum. Revision has been done in evaluation method of exams. Examination
center of university has been started at college for conducting examination of
multidiscipline. Central assessment progarmme (CAP) system has been started at
college level by the University Smooth functioning of assessment and evaluation of
theory papers. Thus, for offline training faculties working as CS and ACS are send at
university.
University conducted meetings of principals to promote autonomy in some areas of
social work discipline in affiliated colleges.
Alumni of the college are in touch with college employment guidance cell and tries
