3 Chapter activities during reported year:
• Chapter day trip to the ITG-/GMA Opto, IRS and Sensors Conference and Sensor + Test Trade Fair in Nürnberg, Germany. Funding was supplied by TU München.
• Three days trip to Schliersbergalm Conference Center for scientific knowledge exchange and group forming. Invited guest speakers were Prof. Dr. Hala El-Khozondar (Palestine Academy for Science and Technology) and Prof. Dr. Félix Salazar (Universidad Polytécnica de Madrid). Funding was supplied by TU München and UPM.
• Co-organization of the 2nd ISWLA 2011 (International Student Workshop on Laser Applications) in Bran, RO. Conference organized by the SPIE Student Chapter Institute for Atomic Physics in Magurele, Romania.
• Attendance of Mr. Andre Heßke, Benjamin Wiesent and Daniel Dorigo to the 2nd ISWLA 2011 in Bran, RO.
• Attendance of Mr. Benjamin Wiesent to SPIE Optics and Photonics and SPIE Student Chapter Leader Workshop in San Diego, CA.
• Visit to the NILPRP (National Institute for Laser Plasma and Radiation Physics) in Magurele, Romania.
• Several presentations held by Student Chapter members. • Monthly Student Chapter meetings at TU München.

• Chapter day trip to Sensoren und Messsysteme 2012 Conference and Sensor + Test Trade Fair in Nürnberg, Germany.
• Co-organization of the 3rd ISCP 2012 (International Student Conference on Photonics) in Sinaia, RO. Conference organized by the SPIE Student Chapter Institute for Atomic Physics in Magurele, Romania.
• Annual meetings at Schliersbergalm Conference Center for scientific knowledge exchange and group forming.
• Attendance to SPIE Optics and Photonics 2012 in Brussels, Belgium. • Attendance to the 3rd ISCP 2012 in Sinaia, RO. • Attendance to Speckle 2012 (SPIE affiliated conference) in Vigo, Spain. • Invitation of visiting lecturers for scientific exchange.
