Celebrating 33-years working with our community is an important milestone because we view our work as a privilege and being part of something very special as our Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre family. Like our families, we also have to grow and keep up with the change around us and this starts with ceremony and meaningful relationships. Our journey this past year has made us stronger, more modernized and increased our positive impact in the community. Some of our highlights are: 445 King Street is now a Community Gathering Place that is accessible, convenient and a meaningful 7-days a week space to gather resulting in tremendous growth in capacity building opportunities for community and collaboration of community-based initiatives. Our community partnerships also resulted in the expansion of Family Group Conferencing that reunified 50-children with their families and prevented another 15-children from coming into care; we also became a member of Winnipeg Indigenous Executive Circle established as a collaborative of Indigenous Executive Directors of Indigenous-led organizations to advance the well-being of Indigenous Peoples in Winnipeg. We are forever grateful to our community members, Board, staff, community partners and funders as this year we honour our Community Partnerships as our way to celebrate our solidarity. Respectfully, Diane Redsky, Executive Director EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S REPORT It brings great pleasure to welcome and honour our 33rd Annual General Meeting celebrating Community Partnerships. We have a great deal to be proud of with our accomplishments this past year that has further grounded us in our name ‘we all work together to help one another’. We have focussed on our Strategic Plan: Community Voice by creating opportunities for our community to inform our services through our Neighbourhood and Sacred 7 Youth Councils; Relationships by creating new ones with community partners and funders, re-establishing older ones through the Winnipeg Outreach Network and our special sacred relationship through ceremony with our Maori family from New Zealand; Opportunities through the multiple new programs we have established including our training plan that will build the capacity of our community and; Leadership in Action by our involvement on the CFS Legislative review committee and the many recognized awards we received this year for our leadership. We are stronger together! On behalf of the Board we would like to thank our staff and our community partners, donors and funders.

It brings great pleasure to welcome and honour our 33rd Annual General Meeting celebrating Community Partnerships.

All of these great programs and opportunities would not be possible without their support!
