Hive OverviewHive builds community via an online community portal and social network, local chapter meetings, and transformational leadership events across the globe. Our vision is a world in which leaders have the support they need to change the world.

Hive was founded in 2013 in San Francisco. Today, Hive is a global community of 2,500 leaders and entrepreneurs from 125 countries who are committed to creating a better world and becoming the best versions of themselves.

HIVE GLOBALLEADERS SUMMIT

The Hive Global Leaders Summit brought together 250 purpose-driven leaders and CEOs from 51 countries for four days and three nights at 1440 Multiversity in Scotts Valley, CA from August 16-19, 2018. Attendees heard from 34 speakers across the content tracks of personal transformation, entrepreneurship, leadership, wellness, and the future. The next Hive GLS will be August 15-18, 2019.

HiveX EventsHive alumni can apply to host a Hive Global Leaders Program (GLP) in their country and receive a royalty-free license to utilize the Hive brand within our guidelines. In 2018, Hive alumni hosted five “Hive Global Leaders Programs” across Berlin, Lahore, Lagos (2), and Montreal. In 2019, we will be launching Hive Chapters in many cities around the world.

Hive Entrepreneur RetreatFrom March 22-25, 2018 we hosted the Hive Entrepreneur Retreat at 1440 Multiversity in Scotts Valley, California. 150 CEOs and founders from all over the world gathered for a three-day mastermind designed to accelerate businesses doing good.

The HiveMinds ShowIn September we launched HiveMInds, a weekly show interviewing leaders and entrepreneurs who are changing the world. We produced 12 HiveMinds episodes in 2018 and expect to produce 50 shows in 2019.

Hive Masterminds

Twice per month we host digital masterminds for our members on Zoom. We break out into groups of 3 and then each attendee gets 12 minutes of focused attention helping them solve their biggest current challege in life.

The New Hive Social Network

In 2018, Hive launched a new web site, new social network for its members, and new mobile apps for Android and iPhone.

Our 2,500 members around the world can now post job opportunites and events, apply to jobs in the network, and stay connected.

Our vision is that wherever you go in the world, there is a Hive family there waiting for you.

In 2018, Hive grew to 2,500 alumni in 125 countries.

We hosted 7 events in five countries, received 19,000 new member applications, and grew our paying member base from 0 to 277.

Hive grew from 1,600 alumni to over 2,534 alumni in 125 countries around the world including every continent except Antarctica.

2,534 ALUMNIWe hosted events in Silicon Valley, Berlin, Lahore, Lagos, and Montreal, gathering 700 leaders and CEOs who are actively working on changing the world.

7 GLOBAL EVENTS

Women from 11 countries participated in the first-ever Hive Women’s Leadership Program online in Summer 2018. We are proud of our commitment to elevating the voice of women in solving our global challenges and look forward to continuing to invest in this important part of our community.

1 WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Hive received 19,250 new member applications in 2018 -- including applications from 157 different countries. We are thrilled with how much interest there is in being a part of the Hive community and encourage all to apply. We vet new members carefully to ensure the quality of the community is consistent with what matters most to Hive.

In 2018 we launched the Hive Membership Program (HMP) and grew from 0 to 277 paying members. Member dues are currently $500 pear year or $50 per month. This recurring dues funding has been essential to providing the ongoing sustenance to keep Hive going. Thank you to our members around the world!

Our email list grew to 95,000 subscribers while our Facebook page passed 104,000 likes.

Hive has 28 investors from 6 countries -- people and firms providing essential funding for our mission and growth. We welcomed a new supporter, Evolve Foundation, in 2018. Evolve’s mission is well aligned with Hive’s. We are thrilled to have them on board!

We have 854 users on the new Hive.org Social Network who have made 862 posts, 673 comments and offered 74 job opportunites in 2018. We also launched the Hive Members iPhone App and Android app in September 2018 and enjoyed meaningful engagement during our Global Leadership Summit in August 2018.
