This plant is necessary for larvae development. However, the leaves and seed pods
are potentially toxic for children and adults. Here’s what Wikipedia has said,
“The plant's latex contains large quantities of glycosides, making the leaves and seed
pods toxic for sheep and other large mammals, and potentially humans (though large
quantities of the foul-tasting parts).

Helpful Hints
Celery Sun. 6- 10 days. 10-12 weeks. When they are 6 inches tall, harden them off
and transplant them to the garden. Keep the
soil moist throughout the growing season and
fertilize plants with compost tea every 2 weeks.

5 -10 days. 8 weeks. Transplant the seedlings into the garden when
they are about 6 inches tall, with two to four
leaves, not earlier than 2 to 3 weeks before the
last frost. Broccoli grows best in cool, moist
conditions. Broccoli will be ready for harvest 50
to 60 days after transplanting to the garden.
Cauliflower
Sun. 5 -10 days. 8 weeks. Seedlings can be transplanted into the garden
about 2 to 3 weeks before the last frost.
Cauliflower will be ready for harvest 45 to 70

Begin sowing lettuce again in midsummer for a
fall harvest that can continue until the first
frost.
Pansies

be planted in a cool place and not permitted to
dry out from the hot sun.
