DESCRIPTIONAnsty House is a quintessential Georgian house which has not been on the market for some 45 years. The Master bedroom is an exceptionally pretty room, with a fi replace and dual aspect, having delightful views over the pond. OUTSIDE The well stocked garden lies predominantly to the rear of house with an area of lawn and fl agstone terraces, fl anked by privet hedging. Stone steps lead up to terraced lawns with a variety of

SITUATIONAnsty House is located in the heart of the old part of the village opposite the pond in a delightful position. Ansty is a sought after small village close to Tisbury within the Nadder Valley which won the best kept small village in Wiltshire award for 2019 – 20. Set about 2 miles south of Tisbury which has become increasingly popular due to its wide range of shops, amenities, Messums Art gallery, thriving community and the beautiful countryside that surrounds it. Tisbury Station offers services to London Waterloo from 1 hour 50 minutes. Access to the A303 is about 6 miles to the north, which brings the M3/M25 within easy commuting distance. For a more comprehensive range of shopping facilities, the cathedral city of Salisbury lies about 14 miles to the east or Shaftesbury about 7.5 miles to the west.

Sporting facilities in the area include golf courses at Rushmore and South West Wilts, racing at Salisbury or Wincanton. There is an extensive network of bridleways and footpaths from the house with superb walking. The popular Jurassic coastline in South Dorset is within easy reach. The area is also renowned for its excellent schooling locally, both state and private.

DIRECTIONS Exit the A303 at bottom of the dual carriageway signed Fonthill Bishop & Tisbury. At the T junction turn right and then take the fi rst left through the stone arch continuing through Fonthill Park. On reaching the T junction opposite the Beckford Arms, turn left. Continue though Tisbury past the railway station, under the bridge and up and over the hill. Proceed around two bends in the lane , then bear right into Ansty. The house will be found just past the maypole on the left hand side.
