ACTIVITIES OF “SKY SAT”
For almost twenty years ˝SKY SAT˝ has been in a telecommunication business, manufacturing broadcast equipments and accessories. We recognized needs for “Key turn” solutions for our clients and decide to offer palette of antenna towers, as well as towers for any other applications.
Design :
low-voltage
networks
transmission lines up to 400 kV
substations up to 400 kV
lighting of roads, sports grounds and other facilities
transmission line towers, antennae, and steel structures for various purposes
contact networks for railway electrification
underground and submarine power cables
Production :
suspension and jointing fittings for
transmission lines and substations up to 500 kV
contact network accessories for railways electrification
steel-lattice towers for transmission lines, antennae, portals and pedestals of devices in substations
polygonal sheet metal poles for lighting of roads, sports grounds, railway stations etc.
steel structures for various purposes
steel guard-rails for motorways
induction devices for heating
of all types of steel and non-ferrous forgings
of all types of non-ferrous castings
medium-voltage transmission lines,
high-voltage transmits. lines up to 400 kV
substations up to 400 kV
Installations :
low-voltage networks,
road and tunnel lighting
laying of all types of underground and submarine cables,
mounting of antenna,
mounting of metal structures for various purposes,
mounting of contact network for railways electrification,
mounting of guard-rails for motorways,
mounting of the equipment for tunnel ventilation,
mounting of signalization, fire protection and fire alarm equipment on roads as well as remote control equipment.
Our long experience in development, erection and production of steel-lattice towers for transmission lines, antennas, and testing, building-in and usage of the afore mentioned equipment guarantee quality, functionality and complete operating safety. Please, note that our company is completely independent in the production process, e.g. it has no licensee commitments. Quality assurance has been organized acc. to ISO – 9001 standard regulations and it includes all services that participate in the process of creation of the products, from market research to tracking of the product in the workings phase. Type, routine and take-over tests are carried out in the mechanical-electrical and chemical laboratories. By means of a more efficient production from the technical point of view, a wide range of products and technical solutions has been developed. 3
Concerning equipment that has not been comprised by our catalogue, namely for special solutions, you are kindly requested to submit to us the tender documentation so that we might offer you the corresponding solution and equipment. At the same time, we shall try to offer you best solutions in compliance with your requests and at our mutual benefit and satisfaction.
ANTENNA TOWERS
TOWERS SPECIFICATION
LOAD CAPACITY The table below shows the equivalent top area capacity as designed by EUROCODE 3 and the wind load according to ENV1992- 2-4. The equivalent top area (AC) is the total calculated area including all the equipment – such as cables and antennas – multiplied by its own shape factor (Cf) multiplied by the ratio of the height of the equipment (Hant) divided by the total height of the tower (Htot).
ANTENNA FIXTURES Flexible antenna fixtures for all types of antennas can be delivered. The pictures on sketches shows a flexible fixture for Dish and Panel antennas. Other types of fixture can be provided. In over product mix there are standard antenna brackets that can be used for most types of antennas and configurations. All the parts have hot-dipped galvanized performance.
PACKAGING AND TRANSPORT
Individual tower shall contain permanent I.D. markings and shall be banded in bundles with appropriate tags. The longest element is 6 m long and all connections are bolt what is give great possibility for transporting (container, truck, etc).
MOUNTING
Very easy to mount with a helicopter or a mobile crane. Where space near the tower
4 permit, it is preferable to assemble a complete section on the ground and erect it as a unit. When assembling horizontally, the towers must be supported at a sufficient number of points and on level ground, with all its bolts loose until all its parts have been assembled.
ACESSORIESS
The tower is delivered with a number of pieces of standard extra equipment, such as
rest platform and a work platform, antenna fixtures for all types of antennas, templates, lightening protection and grounding, cable rail brackets, anti-climb device, locker brackets, anti-fall system with line or rail, and, glider sand belts; can be delivered.
QA-DOCUMENTATION Documentation which responds to the specific needs and wishes of a customer can be provided, such as calculations of strength, and documentation concerning materials, welding and hot dip galvanizing. SPECIAL ACESSORIESS - DESIGN
In accordance with a customer’s specification, a special design for the tower and the accessories can be provided at an agreed price. MATERIAL: Steel quality: ... NS-EN 10025-93 Steel grade: .... S 355 J0 (for main structure) Steel grade:.... S 237 JR G2 (for accessories) Bolts and nuts: ... ISO 898 – I/2 qualities 8.8 Foundation bolts: .. ISO 898 – I/2, quality 8.8 or reinforcement bars quality B500C HOT DIP GALVANIZING: According to ISO 1461. If specified by the customer the ARCT towers can be galvanized according to other international standards.
