JanusPro underwear and middle layers are made from flame retardant textiles which have had no form of chemical treatment or additives. They are completely safe to wear and kind to the environment.
It has taken years of research and development to produce antiflame underwear which is made purely of a combination of merino wool and ProtexM, or cotton and ProtexM. The combination of these two fibres provides a life-long flame retardant, without the use of chemicals.
The garments have been tested and approved according to prevailing international safety standards for antiflame garments and have passed all tests with flying colours.

The JanusPro brand is produced by Janusfabrikken AS, which was founded in 1895 and is currently one of the leading manufacturers of underwear, middle layers and socks in Europe.
The factory at Espeland in Bergen has around 120 employees producing clothing for children and adults. Janus is the market leader in Norway and their export share is on the increase. Janus is best known for its itch-free woollen garments for children and adults. Their range of quality cotton underwear is also very popular. Janusfabrikken produces large volumes of industrial underwear for domestic and international companies.
The company has set up offices in St. Petersburg, Russia and Borås, Sweden in addition to brand shops on Iceland. Janus also has partners in Finland, France, Spain and Croatia. JanusPro Antiflame Regular Wool has also been tested and approved according to the Oeko-Tex ® Standard 100, class II and is guaranteed to be completely free of toxic substances. JanusPro Antiflame Regular Wool garments are soft and comfortable, and the ribbing provides a cooling effect against the skin. JanusPro Antiflame Regular Wool garments are perfect for use as flame-retardant underwear all year round. The garments can be worn together with JanusPro Antiflame Plus on extra cold days. The combination of wool and Protex M gives an outstanding transport of moisture and keeps your skin dry and comfortable.
JanusPro Antiflame Extra garments are made from 80% merino wool and 20% ProtexM. The combination of these two fibres provides a life-long flame retardant, without the use of chemicals. The entire collection meets the requirements of ISO 11612:2008 and has the CE mark. JanusPro Antiflame Extra has also been tested and approved according to the Oeko-Tex ® Standard 100, class II and is guaranteed to be completely free of toxic substances. The garments have an interlock structure providing a smoother surface which withstands sparks and dirt. JanusPro wool antiflame interlock garments are soft and comfortable against the skin, providing excellent insulation even when wet, given the moisture control of the wool/Protex M combination. JanusPro Antiflame Regular Cotton garments are made from 60% ProtexM and 40% cotton. The combination of these two fibres provides a life-long flame retardant, without the use of chemicals. The garments have been approved according to the Oeko-Tex ® Standard 100, class II and do not contain any toxic substances. The garments comply with the strictest require-ments on flame retardant qualities, according to ISO 11612:2008. JanusPro Cotton/ProtexM garments are functional and suitable for milder temperatures. The garments are perfect for year-round use as flame-retardant underwear. On cold days, they can be worn together with the JanusPro Antiflame collections in wool.
JanusPro woollen socks and woollen ragg socks are all flame retardant and are made mostly of wool. They are guaranteed to keep your feet warm. Other fibres have been mixed with the wool in order to increase strength and provide a perfect fit. The 7500 is a thinner sock for milder temperatures. The 7105 is a woollen sock with normal length. The 7106 is somewhat thicker and longer than the 7105, while the 7107 is extra long and is the perfect choice inside high boots, for example. All the JanusPro woollen socks are comfortable and keep you warm on cold days or if you often find that your feet are cold. The socks both insulate from the cold and provide extra cushioning when standing or walking on hard surfaces. It is now a commonly known fact that wool keeps us warm, even when it is wet. Wool also breathes more than most other types of yarn.

The combination of these two fibres provides a life-long flame retardant, without the use of chemicals. The entire collection meets the requirements of ISO 11612:2008 and has the CE mark. JanusPro Antiflame Plus has also been tested and approved according to the Oeko-Tex ® Standard 100, class II and is guaranteed to be completely free of toxic substances. The special fleece weave in these garments prevents loose threads and increases the garments’ resistance to mechanical wear. The terry inside gives the garments extra air and significantly increases insulation capacity. JanusPro Antiflame Plus garments may be used as underwear directly on the skin or as garments over thinner thermal underwear on colder days. The garments are perfect for all those working in tough and varied climates, and who need flame-retardant protection. The more layers of antiflame garments you wear, the greater the protection. Die Funktionskleidung unserer Janus Pro-Kollektion bietet Industriearbeitern Schutz in Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen in der ISO-Leistungsnorm 11612:2008. Die Janus Pro-Kollek-tion ist in den Größen XS-3XL erhältlich.
Um den Schutz zu verbessern, sollten diese Bekleidungsartikel nur als Unterwäsche kombiniert mit anderen flammhemmenden Textilien getragen werden. Mehrere Schichten Kleidung verbessern den Schutz. Kontrollieren Sie die Kleidungsstücke vor dem Waschen gründlich. Kleidungsstücke mit Löchern oder Beschädigungen sollten vor einer weiteren Benutzung repariert werden.
Sollten Chemikalien oder entflammbare Flüssigkeiten unbeabsichtigt auf die Kleidung gespritzt werden, ziehen Sie dieses Kleidungsstück bitte vorsichtig aus und achten Sie darauf, dass keine chemischen Substanzen mit der Haut in Berührung kommen. Bekleidung in den Qualitäten Antiflame Plus und Antiflame Extra sollten mit Oberbekleidung entsprechend IEC 61482-1-2 unter passender Schutzkleidung getragen werden. Wenn ein Lichtbogenschutz erforderlich ist, darf unter Bekleidung von den Qualitäten Antiflame Plus und Antiflame Extra keine Unterbekleidung getragen werden, die infolge von elektrischen Lichtbögen schmelzen kann.
Antiflame Regular, Antiflame Plus, Antiflame Extra und Antiflame Regular Cotton erfüllen alle die Anforerungen in EN ISO 11612:2880. Die Tests wurden nach fünf Waschzyklen ausgeführt. Diese Unterwäsche ist mit dem Flammensymbol sowie dem CE-Zeichen gekennzeichnet. Die Buchstaben unter dem Symbol zeigen die Leistungsstärke des Gewebes an.

STOFFE VON EN ISO ANZEIGEN SORTIERT
The clothing in our Janus Pro collection offers protection for industrial workers, in accordance with the requirements in ISO 11612:2008. All the garments in the collection are blended with ProtexM and are flame retardant throughout the garment’s life cycle. The garments are certified according to the Oeko-Tex ® Standard 100, class II and is guaranteed to be completely free of toxic substances.The Janus Pro Collection is available in the following sizes: XS – 3XL.
In order to increase safety, these garments must only be used as underwear, together with other flame retardant textiles. Wearing several layers gives more protection. Check the garments thoroughly before washing. Any garments with holes or similar damage must not be worn until they have been repaired.
In the event of an accidental splash of chemical or flammable liquids on the clothing, carefully remove the garment and ensure that no chemical liquid comes into contact with the skin. The clothing shall then be cleaned or removed from service.
JanusPro Antifame Plus and Janus Pro Antiflame Extra garments should be worn with outer garments complying with IEC 61482-1-2 and with other suitable protection. When arc protection is required, please note that these garments must be worn under clothes which are manufactured from materials which meets the requirements of electric arc protection and over materials which do not melt under arc conditions.
JanusPro Antiflame Regular Wool, JanusPro Antiflame Extra, JanusPro Antiflame Plus and JanusPro Antiflame Regular Cotton garments all fulfil the requirements in EN ISO 11612:2008. The tests for certification were conducted after 5 washing cycles. The underwear is accordingly labelled with the flame pictogram and CE identification. The letters under the pictogram indicate the level of performance for the fabric.
