l acquisition of kingdom (attainment of a high administrative, or politicalposition in Government,

l gain of wealth and land,

Effects, like gains of wealth by the beneficence of the king, beneficence ofGoddess Lakshmi, recovery of a lost kingdom and of wealth, birth of a son,will arise in the Antara Dasha of Mangala in his own Dasha, if he is in aKendra, in Putra, in Dharma, in Labha, in Sahaja, or in Dhana, or beassociated with the Lord of Lagna.

l if Mangala is in his exaltation,

l in his own Rashi ,

l Or in his own Navamsha

l And is endowed with strength.

Fulfillment of ambitions by the beneficence of the king and acquisition of ahouse, land, cow, buffalo etc. will be the effects, if Mangala is in hisexaltation, in his own Rashi , or in his own Navamsha and is endowedwith strength.

5-5 1/2.

l if Mangala is in Randhra, orVyaya,

l Or is associated with, orreceives a Drishti frommalefics.

Urinary troubles, wounds, danger from snakes and the king will be theresults, if Mangala is in Randhra, or Vyaya, or is associated with, orreceives a Drishti from malefics.

6-8.

l if Mangala is the Lord ofDhana, or Yuvati.

here will be mental agony and body pains, if Mangala is the Lord ofDhana, or Yuvati.

Remedial Measures Lord Shiva will give relief by restoring health and providing gains ofwealth and happiness, if the person concerned





l performs Rudr Japa

l And gives a red-coloured bull in charity.

9-10 1/2.

l if Rahu is in his MulaTrikona,

l in his exaltationRashi,

l in a Kendra,

l in Labha, Putra, or Dharma

l And is associated withbenefics.

l Effects, like recognition from government, gain of house, land etc.,happiness from son, extraordinary profits in business, bathing in holyrivers, like Ganges and foreign journeys, will be the auspicious effects inthe Antara Dasha of Rahu in the Dasha of Mangala, if Rahu is in hisMulatrikona, in his exaltationRashi, in a Kendra, in Labha, Putra,or Dharma and is associated with benefics.

11-14.

l if Rahu is in Randhra, orVyaya,

l Or receives a Drishti from, oris associated with malefics.

l Danger from snakes, wounds, destruction of cattle, danger from animals,diseases, due to imbalance of bile and wind, imprisonment etc. will bethe results, if Rahu is in Randhra, or Vyaya, or receives a Drishtifrom, or is associated with malefics.

l if Rahu is in Dhana and greatdanger of premature death, ifhe is in Yuvati.

l Dhana's, or Yuvati's

l here will be loss of wealth, if Rahu is in Dhana

and great danger of premature death, if he is in Yuvati.

Remedial Measures The remedial measure to be adopted to obtain relief from the above evileffects are





l Naga Puja,

l Offering food to Brahmins

l And Mrityunjaya Japa.

They will help in the prolongation of longevity.

15-16.

l if Guru is in Dharma, orPutra, in a Kendra,

l Or in Labha, or in Dhana,

l Or, if Guru is in his exalted,

l Or own Navamsha.

Effects, like good reputation and renown, honors by government, increase inwealth and grains, happiness at home, gain of property, happiness from wifeand children etc. will be realized in the Antara Dasha of Guru in the Dasha ofMangala, if Guru is in Dharma, or Putra, in a Kendra, or in Labha, or inDhana, or, if Guru is in his exalted, or own Navamsha.

17-19 1/2.

l if Guru is in a Kendra, in aTrikona, or in the 11th fromthe Lord of the Dasha,

l Or, if Guru is associated withthe Lord of Dharma, Karma,or Bandhu, or Lagna,

l Or, if Guru is in a beneficNavamsha etc.

Acquisition of a house, land, well-being, gain of property, sound health, goodreputation, gains of cattle, success in business, happiness to wife andchildren, reverence from government, gain of wealth etc. will be beneficialeffects, if Guru is in a Kendra, in a Trikona, or in the 11th from the Lordof the Dasha, or, if Guru is associated with the Lord of Dharma, Karma,or Bandhu, or Lagna, or, if Guru is in a benefic Navamsha etc.

20-22. Danger from thieves, snakes, wrath of the king, bilious diseases, oppressionby goblins (Prot), loss of servants and co-borns, will be evil effects, if Guru

l Or, if Guru is in hisdebilitation Rashi,

l Or, if Guru is associated with,or receives a Drishti frommalefics,

l Or, if Guru is otherwise weak.

Effects, like

l death,

l danger from the king and thieves,

l rheumatism, pains,

l danger from the enemy and members of the family,

will be experienced.

l if Budha is in a Kendra, or ina Trikona from Lagna.

Effects, like association with pious and holy persons, performance of AjayaJapa, charities, observance of religious rites, gain of reputation, inclinationtowards diplomacy, availability of sweetish preparations, acquisition ofconveyances, clothes and cattle etc., conferment of authority in the king'sretinue, success in agricultural projects etc., will be experienced in the AntaraDasha of Budha in the Dasha of Mangala, if Budha is in a Kendra, or in aTrikona from Lagna.

38-39.

l if Budha is in his debilitationRashi, if Budha is combust,or, if Budha is in Ari,Randhra, or Vyaya.

Diseases of heart, imprisonment, loss of kinsmen, distress to wife andchildren, destruction of wealth and cattle etc. will result, if Budha is in hisdebilitation Rashi, if Budha is combust, or, if Budha is in Ari, Randhra,or Vyaya.

40-40 1/2.

l if Budha be associated withthe Lord of the Dasha.

here will be journeys to foreign lands, increase in the number of enemies,affliction with many kind of ailments, antagonism with the king, quarrelswith kinsmen etc., if Budha be associated with the Lord of the Dasha.

41-43 1/2.

l if Budha is in a Kendra, orTrikona from the Lord of theDasha, or, if Budha is in hisexaltationRashi.

Fulfillment of all ambitions, gain of wealth and grains, recognition by theking, acquisition of a kingdom, gain of clothes and ornaments, attachment tomany kind of musical instruments, attainment of the position of aCommander of an Army, discussions on Shastras and Puranas, gain of richesto wife and children and beneficence of Goddess Lakshmi will be the veryauspicious results, if Budha is in a Kendra, or Trikona from the Lord ofthe Dasha, or, if Budha is in his exaltationRashi.

44-45 1/2.

l if Budha is in the 6th, the 8th,or the 12th from Mangala, oris associated with malefics.

Effects, like defamation, sinful thinking, harsh speech, danger from thieves,fire and the king, quarrels without reason, fear of attacks by thieves anddacoits (armed robber bands) during travels, will be derived, if Budha is inthe 6th, the 8th, or the 12th from Mangala, or is associated with malefics.





46-47.

l iif he is Dhana's, or Yuvati'sLord.

here will be a possibility of critical illness in the Antara Dasha of Budha, ifhe is Dhana's, or Yuvati's Lord.

Remedial Measures Remedial measures to obtain relief from these evil effects are

l recitation of Vishnu Sahasranam

l And giving a horse in charity.

Effects, like

l acquisition of a kingdom,

l great enjoyment and comfort of luxuries,

l gain of elephants, horses, clothes etc.,

will be derived in the Antara Dasha of Shukra in the Dasha of Mangala.





l Lagna's, Putra's, or Dharma'sLord

If Shukra is

l related to Lagna's Lord,

there will be

l happiness to wife and children,

l opulence and glory

l and increased good fortune.

57-60.

l if Shukra is in the 5th, the 9th,the 11th, or the 2nd from theLord of the Dasha.

l Gain of property,

l celebrations on the birth of a son,

l gain of wealth from the employer,

l acquisition of a house,

l land, villages etc.

l by the beneficence of the sovereign,

will be the results.

l Timing of events In the last part of the Dasha there will be

l functions of songs and dances

l and bathing in holy water.

If Shukra is

l connected with, or related tothe Lord of Karma,

there will be

l construction of wells,

l reservoirs etc.

l and performance of religious, charitable and pious deeds.

l Acquisition of more kingdom,

l gain of perfumes, clothes,

l or in a Kendra,

l or in Dharma, or in Bandhu,or in Karma,

l or in Lagna along with theLords of those Bhavas.

l construction of reservoirs,

l shelters for cows etc.,

l celebrations of auspicious functions, like marriage etc.,

l happiness to wife and children,

l good relations with parents,

l acquisition of property by the beneficence of the sovereign,

l success in the desired projects

will be the effects in the Antara Dasha of Chandra in the Dasha of Mangala.

Waxing and waning Chandra The good effects will be realized in full, if Chandra is waxing.

l Waning Chandra will reduce the impact of the effects to some extent.

74-76.

if Chandra is

l in his debilitation Rashi,

l Or, if Chandra is in his enemyRashi ,

Or, if Chandra is
