To underpin our commitment in green management,
HKIFM will serve as a member of the captioned Task Force
to steer and support the promotion and implementation of
carbon audits for facilities in HK. In this green initiative,
some $450 million will be earmarked under the Environ-
ment and Conservation Fund to subsidize facility owners to
carry out energy-cum-carbon audits as well as energy
efficiency projects. HKIFM trusts this initiative will
strengthen the value of Carbon Charter Campaign as
launched by the Government in July this year.
