Working with advanced software programs and Engineering/Stress Analysis technology, they design, prototype, test and build products. When you deal with Schiavello, you know that your products are going to be made and assembled in Australia, in our Tullamarine plant or at one of our other facilities. We choose to produce here because it helps us keep our word to our customers. Schiavello is a project based manufacturer. We understand the logistics of setting up an office. We know the importance of getting customers in and operational by a certain time, on a prescribed day. That requires very sophisticated project control, scheduling of materials and production resources. We could not guarantee these things if we had to depend on others. We manufacture in our own plants, we can respond to deadlines, we can react appropriately in critical situations. As a customer, you would want to know: how good is our product, how good is our service, how good is the back up. We like the fact that we are in total control of virtually every aspect of the manufacturing and assembly

processes. Our customers love to know they can come out to any one of our plants at any time, to check first hand on their orders or to discuss changes. Having virtually all resources at our fingertips and managing them gives us an unmatched planning and performance advantage. It’s no secret, but that is part of the secret of our success.

Since we established our own environment division in 1996, sustainability has been one of Schiavello’s corporate imperatives. We recognise the significant environmental challenges facing the world and we understand the role we can play in reducing materials, energy, waste and emissions; and our responsibility to make products that are not only ergonomically sound and easy to use, but kind to the environment as well. Schiavello’s sustainability principles have been designed to encourage increased use of renewable materials and certified timbers; improve indoor air quality through reduction of VOCs; minimize ozone-depleting gas emissions; encourage product flexibility and component re-use. Schiavello’s Environmental Management System is externally certified and we are ISO 14001-1996 compliant.
