A truly modular and affordable solution for any PAUT and TOFD
weld inspection
Anyweld is a magnetic wheeled scanner designed for almost
any type of one line inspection of welds. Its design allows a self
aligned scan on circumferential welds of pipes from 4" OD up
to flat, but can be used on longitudinal welds as well. The
scanner can also be used on non magnetic materials with the
optional bearing chains. Electronic Anyweld used on a AUT
validation on 10.75" CRA weld.
In the pressure equipment manufacturing branch the demand
on Automated Ultrasonic Inspection (AUT), Phased Array
and/or TOFD solutions is steadily increasing and replacing usual
radiographic examination.
Anyweld has been designed to be very compact, robust and
adaptive. It can carry from 1 PA probe, with minimized
encumbrance, up to 8 probes (10 with dual TOFD IMG wedges).
IMG proprietary design of magnetic wheels provide for
unprecedented attractive force and ensure proper traction. The
use of the scanner on non magnetic materials is ensured by
adding bearing chain, which can also be used for better scan
alignment on magnetic materials.
Anyweld embedded or external battery operated electronics
guarantees constant traction and speed control in any position.
Speed is step programmable from 2 mm/s to 100 mm/s.
Remote control can be wired or wireless (optional).

12V auxiliary output is available for external water
feeding pumps with on-off commands on the remote
control. The scanner can be assembled in at least 14
different configurations.
Anyweld has a laser guide for accurate positioning,
saving time in inspection.
The power unit provides a direct hi resolution encoder output which can be wired to match any AUT flaw detector
such as Sonatest (Veo and Prisma), AGR, Zetec or other equipment with encoder input.
