About ANZAC day
ANZAC Day is in 25th of April. ANZAC Day is a special day for Australian people and New Zealand people. In ANZAC Day all the peoples are remember soldiers who had died in the war.
In 1916, the 25th of April was officially named as ANZAC Day.
In 1917, the word ANZAC meant someone who fought at Gallipoli but later it came to mean any Australian or New Zealander who served or fought in the First World War.
The School Soldier’s Memorial The school soldier’s memorial is the white obelisk that is at the corner of the every schools.
we Know that was completed before 1918
Back then the school was called Norwood Public School, because it was a combination of a Primary School and a Secondary School.
