N.P.S MEMORIAL #1 In our school, we have a
memorial that was built by the kids of the school in 1916. It was built in memory of the former students of N.P.S who died for Liberty and Country in the world war I (1914 – 1918). Unfortunately, we don’t know when it was finished.

N.P.S MEMORIAL #2 Back then, it was against the law to build a
memorial as it reminded everyone how many lives were lost at war, and the government thought it would make less young men want to go to war, because they would think they would lose their lives, like the other men. Ether way, the principal of the school made one. His (Joseph Kennedy) son went to WW1, and got injured, so he decided to break the law and build the memorial that is still exactly where they put it 99 years ago.

THE LAST POST The Last Post is a traditional song
played on Anzac Day (and Remembrance Day) on the Bugle. It is played in silence to remember all the boys and men who fought to war.
