Our Chapter’s GoalsPositively impact the community at large

through health-oriented mentoring projects and fundraisers

Strengthen the presence and awareness of Osteopathy in the local community

Promote fellowship amongst the student body and continue the scholastic standing of its members and its colleagues

Monthly Meetings• General club meeting the

• To fulfill their commitment to SSP, members participate in community service and fundraising events• Members are required to complete

a minimum of 12 hours of community service per semester

Non-profit organization that functions as a soup kitchen for young children

SSP members are encouraged to volunteer their time to give homework help to these kidsTeaching basic math

Collaborative effect with the local YMCA

SSP members take the blood pressure for members of the YMCA and inform them on the general health of their heart before and/or after exercise

ServErieHelp local charity organizations clean up

school, churches and other public faciilities around underserved communities in Erie.

Held at LECOM campus every fall and spring since 2002
